What do you make of Manchester City's season so far?
Started off well, very promising but, Hughes didn't exactly set the world alight at City with the funds and TIME provided. Us City fans don't really have huge expectations of our team mainly due to our 35 year trophy draught, results against lesser teams such as Wigan, Burnely, Bolton, Hull...etc, were clearly not good enough and Mark had to go.
Mancini now seems to have transformed our squad and managed to do what many thought was impossible, get 3 clean sheets in a row even with Key squad members out, and this is just in a matter of weeks!

What did you think about Mark Hughes' departure? Was it too soon?
No not really. 18 months is plenty of time to make an impact. By impact, I mean getting our team to play "decent" football on a consistent basis. Hughes was absolutely clueless when it came to substitutions and squad rotations. The majority of the fans never took to him which is never a good thing, so no...It wasn't too soon.

What are your first impressions of Robert Mancini?
Mr Cool. This man knows what hes talking about and I hate to sound arrogant, he WILL bring us glory sooner rather than later.

Who has been the star player so far this season?
I'd have to go with Carlos Tevez. The man has just simply worked wonders at our club, he really is World-Class. Never stops running, skillful and best of all he snubbed the reds to join the blues. Bellamy isn't far off, he's a right character.

Which summer signing has settled in best?
No 32.

Which Manchester City player has the most to prove over the rest of the season?
Robinho. Without a shadow of a doubt. £32Million we paid for him and 75% of the time he just chooses to perform. He either gets his act together or he'll be out of the door in the Summer.

You won here towards the end of last season. How do you think the game will go this time around?
Hmmm tricky one this. Moyes has recently got you onto winning ways and with a couple of new additions to your squad in January who knows, but being loyal to my club...I'll go for a narrow 1-0 or 2-1 City win.

What are your thoughts on Everton?
Your a top 7 club easily, yeah your not doing great at the moment but Moyes hasn't exactly had the funds to work with. Like us you have a great loyal fanbase and have a great history.

Who is the Everton player you fear most?
Jo. (Just kidding, he is shocking isn't he...can't believe I got him on my shirt 2 years ago, what a waste of money)
On a serious note though Saha I fear the most. On his day, one of the best finishers in the Prem.

What's the best thing about supporting Manchester City?
Being "Unique" and not being associated with that "Brand" down the road.

Cheers ;)

What do you make of Manchester City's season so far?

Great start, but some dissapointing home draws have cost us valuable points

What did you think about Mark Hughes' departure? Was it too soon?

I was slightly surprised when I heard the news but I fully understand why the board acted like they did.We were leaking goals and with 4th place a serious reality this season a change in staff was needed as I feel things wouldnt of changed that much under Hughes

What are your first impressions of Robert Mancini?

Early days but the guy can do no wrong at the moment.Classy,Tactically sound and seems to command the respect of the players.

Who has been the star player so far this season?

Craig Bellamy. No doubt about it.Pace, ability, work rate, the guy has it all.

Which summer signing has settled in best?

I would say Carlos Tevez. We have given him the run of games he has required and he is now showing what he is all about.

Which Manchester City player has the most to prove over the rest of the season?

Robinho. When he is good he is unplayable, but when he isnt interested he is the most frustrating player in the world.

You won here towards the end of last season. How do you think the game will go this time around?

I'm confident Mancini has sorted our defence out so I'm expecting a tight affair, but I think our quality up front will decide the game!0-1

What are your thoughts on Everton?

A similar club to ourselves really, overshadowed by more successful neigbours but who have a large loyal fanbase and should be up in the top 7 every season.

Who is the Everton player you fear most?

Tim Cahill.Quality player who has a knack of scoring against us!!

What's the best thing about supporting Manchester City?

Never knowing whats going to happen next!! Rollercoaster of emotions, but I wouldnt have it any other way!

What do you make of Manchester City's season so far?
Pleased with the way we started, The draws we had was very disappointing Losing to many points.

What did you think about Mark Hughes' departure? Was it too soon?
I wasn't to sure about him leaving I felt that he needed more time, The way they dealt with it was really unprofessional!

What are your first impressions of Robert Mancini?
Roberto Mancini has made a fantastic start winning 3 of 3 and not conceding 1 goal!

Who has been the star player so far this season?
Bellamy Or de Jong without a doubt.

Which summer signing has settled in best?
For Me, Barry, Started brilliantly, then went threw a rocky patch and is back at his best now.

Which Manchester City player has the most to prove over the rest of the season?
Toure, He has to prove to his critics and be more consistent, Adebayor as well has to improve and stop being lazy.

You won here towards the end of last season. How do you think the game will go this time around?
Last season was a great win for us, this year i think city should get a comfortable 2-0 win this season.

What are your thoughts on Everton?
Everton this season are not doing as well as I thought, with the squad they have they should be pushing for the top 6with Aston Villa and Tottenham

Who is the Everton player you fear most?
Arteta or Cahill are Evertons Biggest threat this season.

What's the best thing about supporting Manchester City?
The best thing about supporting Manchester City is that you never know what’s going to happen. Always expect the unexpected!

What do you make of Manchester City's season so far?

inconsistant. dropping points against Hull and Burnley at home was disappointing.

What did you think about Mark Hughes' departure? Was it too soon?

Possibly. Im of the opinion that managers should be given time - just look at David Moyes. However the owners wanted better results to warrent the amount of money they have invested.

What are your first impressions of Robert Mancini?

He seems quite a cool customer, i couldn't see him chucking tea cups around the dressing room :)

Who has been the star player so far this season?

Either Craig Bellamy or Shay Given - with a special mention for Nigel De Jong, all superb

Which summer signing has settled in best?

Carols Tevez, classy and energetic.

Which Manchester City player has the most to prove over the rest of the season?

For me either Toure or Adebayor, both have had good games for us but then again both have seemed quite lazy at times

You won here towards the end of last season. How do you think the game will go this time around?

Mancini seems to have installed a bit more confidence in the team, so im gonna ago for a close 2-1 victory for City

What are your thoughts on Everton?

Underachieving this season, but i would put Everton in the group of clubs that should be challenging for the last Champs League spot along with us, Villa and Spurs.

Who is the Everton player you fear most?

Tim Cahill, he's a great player

What's the best thing about supporting Manchester City?

Its never boring!! Ive supported City for about 17 years and seen them relegated 4 times, promoted 3 times, demolish Utd a few times and seen us become the richest club on the planet. Combine that with embarrasing defeats to teams like Forest (last seasons FA Cup), Brighton (Carling Cup), Doncaster (Carling Cup) etc.....

What do you make of Manchester City's season so far?
Points-wise, I would say satisfactory. There were too many draws but luckily we remained within reach of the Champions League places. It's frustrating because under Hughes, this season just felt like constant missed opportunities.

What did you think about Mark Hughes' departure? Was it too soon?
I had no problem with Hughes being sacked, he was doing OK, but when you spend over £200 million on the team, OK is not enough any more. The way he was fired was very poor but it's happened and things move on. Tactically, he seemed pretty poor. Take the Spurs game for example, he plays 35 year-old Sylvinho at left back against Lennon, who is in the form of his life. Anybody knows that would be a problem and predictably Lennon had a field day yet, nothing was done to address the problem during the game.

What are your first impressions of Robert Mancini?
Conversely, Mancini seems very tactically aware. He has the rare ability to change a game with his tactics, he addresses it quickly if he sees that he got it wrong in the first place. I'm seriously impressed because he his instilled the Italian style of football into the team already with some great possession football and a solid defence.

Who has been the star player so far this season?
Unlike previous years we have a few candidates, but one stands out above the rest. Craig Bellamy. He was written off this summer as being our fifth choice striker and he has excelled himself on the left wing, eclipsing Robinho and proving himself to be our most dangerous player going forward.

Which summer signing has settled in best?
I think Tevez, he made a slow start after missing pre season training, but his form of late has been fantastic, he drops deep to almost play as a playmaker, but he's been getting in the right places to get goals, which has been a prior criticism of him.

Which Manchester City player has the most to prove over the rest of the season?
Another tough one to answer, we've had several underperformers in the team. Ireland hasn't hit last season's dizzy heights, Lescott doesn't look like a £24million defender but it has to be Robinho. The Premier League's most expensive player, but he is constantly on the periphery of games and when you pay £32million, you expect him to be far more involved.

You won here towards the end of last season. How do you think the game will go this time around?
I'm feeling confident, about most of our games at the moment and with Everton struggling this season, I see a similar result to last season.

What are your thoughts on Everton?
Everton have overachieved for the last few seasons, but Moyes gets the team to play for results and not to entertain, so it works. I think Everton's inferior transfer budget to the likes of City, Spurs and Villa is beginning to show.

Who is the Everton player you fear most?
Pienaar has been Everton's biggest attacking threat for the last year or so now and has softened the blow of losing Arteta to an extent.

What's the best thing about supporting Manchester City?
You never know what's going to happen next. I can go from hating to loving City in such short periods of time but I love it!

No.Timing was just about right.

What are your first impressions of Robert Mancini?
So far so good...Sterner tests to come but I think we have a winner here.

Bellamy for me...gives 100% and is passionate about the Blue Shirt.

Which summer signing has settled in best?
Carlos or Barry

Which Manchester City player has the most to prove over the rest of the season?
Robhino

You won here towards the end of last season. How do you think the game will go this time around?

What are your thoughts on Everton?
Struggling with a lack of depth in the sqaud but a solid team all in all.

Who is the Everton player you fear most?
Tim Cahill

What's the best thing about supporting Manchester City?
Everything...the sense of belonging that comes with following a club that has been there and back over the years and the knowledge that I will continue to do so no matter what.

What do you make of Manchester City's season so far? fairly optimistic, good start but absolute disaster at old trafford. some really poor performances and results mixed with some really good ones. we'll see how it pans out.

What did you think about Mark Hughes' departure? Was it too soon?the owners gave him enough time considering he wasnt there man. you can't draw at home to teams like burnley and hull if you think you have a serious chance of getting in the top 4.

What are your first impressions of Robert Mancini? he's a very calm man and seems to be a master tactician so far. wasnt so sure when we first signed him up but he won me and most fans over pretty quickly.

Who has been the star player so far this season?bellamy has been fantastic as has carlos tevez. always 100% commitment from them.

Which summer signing has settled in best?tevez, he is on fire right now. already achieved legendary status from coming over to us from that lot.

Which Manchester City player has the most to prove over the rest of the season?adebayor. when he is playing well he is a delight to watch but sometimes he looks very lazy and doesnt get in to games. hopefully he will come good.

You won here towards the end of last season. How do you think the game will go this time around?
we dont often win away at everton and goodison can be a tricky place to go. i think it will be a tough game so mayb 1-1 or 2-1 city.
What are your thoughts on Everton?remind me a lot of city. stadium similar to maine road with fantastic vocal support at times. you have been very consistant over the last few seasons as moyes has done a fantastic job.

Who is the Everton player you fear most?
cahill. always seems to scores when i see him.
What's the best thing about supporting Manchester City?never knowing whats going to happen and always knowing that i am certainly not a glory hunter.

What do you make of Manchester City's season so far?

Hit and miss. We've only lost twice, and we're in the Carling Cup Semi Final, so there are definite positives to be taken. However we've simply not won enough league games, and the dropped points have come against some of the divisions poorer sides, so that's disappointing. I think we're quite lucky that most sides have been struggling this season.

What did you think about Mark Hughes' departure? Was it too soon?

I think he needed to go. I was never a fan of Hughes' appointment, and it wasn't solely down to his association with a certain club just outside Manchester. He'd never won anything as a manager, and I didn't see what he would bring to City that would make us a Champion's League club. Defensively we looked suspect and Hughes didn't seem to have any answer to it

What are your first impressions of Robert Mancini?
Three wins and three clean sheets mean initial impressions are favourable, the real test will come when we start to drop points as, inevitably, we will. With all due respect to Sunderland, Wolves and Middlesbrough they aren't exactly the best sides in England and I'd have been looking to beat all of them, when we play some of the bigger sides we'll see what Mancini has to offer.

Who has been the star player so far this season?
Craig Bellamy has been our best player, something I'm not sure I ever thought I'd say. I really didn't want him last January when we were linked to him and I'm not afraid to say he's proved me very, very wrong. Shay Given and Carlos Tevez deserve a mention too as bth have been playing well.

Which summer signing has settled in best?
That's got to be Tevez. He's been playing very well of late, you can't argue with 8 goals in his last 8 games (at time of writing). In all fairness though, Tevez hasn't had a lot to compete with here as the other summer signings of Santa Cruz, Lescott, Toure, Adebayor and Barry have been occasionally good but mainly below par.

Which Manchester City player has the most to prove over the rest of the season?
Narrowing this down to just one player is difficult, there are several that have been underperforming and need to show us what they've got to offer. Ireland has taken a step backwards, as has Richards. All the Summer signings bar Tevez need to show why they were worth the money. But, if I had to chose just one player, I'd have to go for Robinho. £32.5m is a lot of money for anyone, let alone a player who drifts in and out of games and doesn't seem to be interested. He's been injured but the fact still remains it's January now and he still hasn't scored this season.

You won here towards the end of last season. How do you think the game will go this time around?
I think it'll end in a draw. Pre-season I'd have taken a point at Goodison but you've been in poor form this season and we've dropped points in games we should have been winning (Hull, Burnley, Birmingham, Wigan and Fulham to name just 5) so we really need to be taking the three points.

What are your thoughts on Everton?
Everton are a team that seems to maintain a top half position (and more recently UEFA Cup qualification) despite having limited financial resources. You have to wonder, with the money at City and the superior squads of Villa and Spurs, how much longer Everton can continue to do this. A new stadium is a must as Goodison Park is showing it's age now. As a club I don't have any real issues with Everton, in fact there are definite similarities between our two clubs both of which have to deal with arrogant, yet annoyingly more successful, neighbours. The Lescott saga has had an adverse effect on Evertonian/Mancunian relations, David Moyes certainly didn't make any friends in Manchester with his attitude and media comments this summer, but I suppose when you want to keep a player and someone else won't take no for an answer it must be hard to keep you cool. I think it's fair to say we probably overpaid for Lescott.

Who is the Everton player you fear most?
Tim Cahill is your best player, and always a goal threat, but Everton are more of a team than a collection of individuals. I wouldn't say one player should be feared, Everton are a classic example of the whole being more than the sum of the parts. Birmingham would be a lower rent example of such a team.

What's the best thing about supporting Manchester City?
I guess the answer to this one would be a complex one. Growing up in Manchester, and being born 12 months after our last trophy success, it's always been a vocation supporting City, you simply don't support us and expect success (well, not until now potentially). I suppose the best thing is the feeling of being part of something, I don't know what being a United fan feels like but I get the impression it's a fairly hollow feeling. Yes, there are seemingly annual trophies, but there's no sense of togetherness, of belonging. There aren't many clubs that can claim to have been through the trials and tribulations that City have over the last three decades, those difficulties have given City fans a sense of commaraderie, league games against Macclesfield Town and Wycombe Wanderers when you're used to playing United and Arsenal will tend to do that to you. Being a City fan is like being part of a family.
