Bollocks, they can send emails out daily about all sorts of shit and wonderful merch to flog us. They had since midnight last night, emails to the successful should have been sent first thing today and everyone should have heard by now.
You’re comparing bulk emails to everyone with individual emails to over 50,000 people. Not me talking bollocks.

Well there is an excuse. All the people lucky enough to be drawn out have been entered into some sort of system to enable them to buy. The system will then generate an email.

The people who haven't been drawn out presumably haven't been entered into any system. You'd have to enter everyone into the system for everyone to get an email and why should they do that?

I realise people are disappointed, as I am, but just grow a pair instead of whining like a spoiled kid whose parents won't get them the toy they wanted.

However, take all those entered in ballot - remove those awarded a ticket = those who were not successful and could easily have been informed. This is not rocket science coding, a 12 year old could do that.

Not really as effectively three emails could have been sent out to three groups, one to say you have a ticket one to say you are on a reserve list and one to say sorry. Given that two of the three have been sent then everyone one else who has been filtered out could have been sent the third email. Wouldn't have taken that much effort given the amount of time they have had to plan for this. As I have said before loyalty works two ways and whilst I don't agree with the ballot I have to accept the situation. What I find hard to accept is the total lack of communication.

SPOT ON

Did you get one?

I don't think anyone would have begrudged someone getting tickets ahead of them for this game based on loyalty points since that happens for all away games and is the whole point of a loyalty point system existing for years.

The stories on here of non cityzens who have only been to a handful of games getting tickets ahead of lifelong home seasoncard holders is more than just unfair.
It’s what Prestwich Blue wanted and agreed to. Remember what he said, they didn’t think a loyalty based system was the correct thing for this game.

Has any applied for 3 and only got 2
Or similar
Bit confused heard a story about a 5 year old getting a confirmation e-mail but his dad didn’t so rang up was told he can purchase too
I applied for 4 only got 3 emails all acc have a separate e-mail address

You rewarded SOME of the people who rarely if ever miss a game , home or away. Are you really tring to suggest ALL under 22000 do not fit that category. I am sure the decision which was made was not your fault as such, but it is diabolical that some who have had a season ticket for far longer than me (21 years) are missing out. And instead the club have offered tickets to people who rarely attend. Life certainly isn't fair but the club didn't have to make it this unfair so you shouldn't defend them. Perhaps you can suggest at the next meeting they refund the platinum money collected over the last nine or ten seasons.
It was a decision they agreed with. “City matters and the club didn’t think it was right to do it on loyalty points “ that’s from “our” rep.
