Return of Supporters

Utd have put their information out, but if all well they are back in Dec 20 th v Leeds £30 an adult ticket,
I've just been talking to my next door neighbour who is a Utd season card holder and he has been asked to apply for one of these tickets but as he says, they have still got his money from last season and they won't take the cost of this ticket from that! He said he knows that it is the season of goodwill but that's taking the mickey! They are holding on to his season card money so take it from that!

We did really well to get our money back, I even got my car park season ticket money back,
Well done City on this one,

If true, that is incredible but I am guessing they plan to refund all Season ticket holders the full amount, at the end of the season, than just breaking it down game by game. Still it would not sit well with me.

He did wonder about that but felt that they could offer the option with the employment situation being as it is. He thinks that they are only interested in money not the fans.... I think I’ve heard that somewhere before. :-)

He should have taken the refund when offered. It is likely using the credit causes admin problems, and the credit can only be used for the next season ticket as a block payment.

Fans having concerns about arbitrary ticket allocations or the majority of available seats going to corporates is moaning.

First they came for the communists..
I think we'll be more concerned about peoples' health, rather than their political affiliations. But tickets will be allocated in the same proportions as a normal matchday. The majority of the tickets will go to seasoncard holders therefore, as they constitute 40k of a normal matchday crowd out of 52k home fans.

Personally I won’t be going back until everyone can.

From a neutral view I find the games with fans currently much more better to watch, just too see them there gives a sense of normality and the natural sounds over those awful
Generic shit they use instead

WHAT?????? Never mind talking to him, get some dogs and cats to shit in his garden.
:-) :-( ...I know but he is a great neighbour. He and his wife are both SC holders! However on the first day of lockdown they were the first people (apart from family) to contact me to offer help. They put a lovely note through my door. They are young and I am trying to re-educate them! He came to collect a parcel I had taken in and he did wish us luck for the match. :-)

I'll go back when I am vaccinated which should be in a couple of months. Watching Chelsea I thought they were out of order. II really thought they'd put 2,000 across all of the lower tiers so everyone would be distanced and quite safe. It looked like some areas had a lot of people together singing for a long time which is exactly what you want to avoid.

I personally think it should be all or nothing. The crowds looked toss yesterday (for obvious reasons). This also probably creates a loss for clubs with putting on security, staff and opening food outlets etc.

If you are a grown adult and are being smug that you privileged to be able to attend a game in the current climate then you are a tosser.

We haven't played with any fans yet so I've no idea if it's better or not, I've not watched any other games, because I've no interest in watching anyone else.

The clubs range of food is a good indication of its concern for people's health, it is generally highly priced obesity food which indicates profit over health concerns. Not to mention things like running of of water in the toilets.

On match days you get non-members buying one off tickets, people going on freebies including non-city fans, so restricting season ticket holders to the same proportion would mean certain privileged cohorts get a higher percentage.

Yes, I'm sure if they put cheap healthy salads on sale we'd be queinng round the block for them. He said health as in safety don't think he meant general dietry concerns.

The various groups will get the same proportion as they would in a full stadium. So if seasoncard holders get 80% they'll get 80% of 2k. If Cityzens get 10% they'll get 200 tickets out of the 2k. If hospitality get 10% normally then they'll get 200 tickets. No one is getting any more or less as a proportion than they would with 50k plus in the stadium.

We'd already agreed that a while ago with the club.
