Return of Supporters

Got my phone call yesterday, I’m assuming the club must know we’re getting moved too tier 2 next week. I hope I’m one of the lucky ones to get a ticket

Swings and roundabouts mate, we will play United and Spurs at home with our fans in
I was just using an example, it applies to all teams, I thought that was obvious by the use of “for example”

I think it’s going to be an unfair advantage to teams who play away with supporters back in the ground. For example We have to go to klanfield but they did not have to play against us with our home support. Not fair as it does make a difference

Not just this, but also some teams having fans in now gives them a clear advantage, e.g. spurs, Chelsea, dippers. Sporting integrity my fucking arse. Should have waited til all clubs could have fans.

Football is inherently unfair though, isn't it? Its not a level playing ground and never has been.

There's nothing really fair about a league where some clubs have squads worth £100m and some worth £800m. Is it fair that the transfer window means you can play a much stronger version of a club in February than your rival played in December? Is it fair that some clubs had 3 weeks between seasons and some had 8 weeks? Is it fair that you can have 2 or 3 days less rest than your opponent from week to week? Or that in April one title contender might have a derby sandwiched between 2 Champions League games while another has a guaranteed 3 points vs a relegation candidate?

It is unfair to have some clubs with fans and others without, but it's just one more on the pile of a pretty unfair sport.

The postponed Aston Villa game might get played in front of fans which is unfair on Villa. United will have to play the other derby at a full Etihad. We'll play Spurs in front of fans while they had none. So I think from a City point of view we are doing reasonably well.

What was said in the call? Are you located in Manchester.

Just trying to get a grasp of which season ticket holders will be able to go etc. Thanks

Same here some memory photos appeared on my Facebook page, had a brilliant time there and would definitely go back

Just done the same with my FB pics. Was one of the friendliest places I've ever visited and definitely want to return to see more of Croatia when its safe to do so.

Mate totally agree I was making the point not just for city! What about teams who could get relegated, having fans at home could make a difference when they are playing teams in and around them

Money is not a rule of the game, and although I accept fans aren’t a rule of the game it is a very controllable issue, yes you can have fans or no you can’t, rather than half can and half can’t, that’s very controllable. And let’s have it right, money in football has never been an issue, until we got a load
