Return of Supporters

Just looking again at the postcode criteria for the league Cup final and it's bizarre. You can get a ticket if you live in London or any of the home counties and from Lancashire, Manchester and West Yorkshire. Spurs fans can travel from anywhere! As an exiled blue living in the Midlands I'm excluded. Surely driving from the Midlands is no less safe than driving from the approved areas.

Yeah but you won't use the train from piccadilly or the Etihad coaches will you and I can't help but think this postcode lottery is more to ensure the transport put on is viable to run

I just spoke to Supporter Services and they said they are still in talks as to whether there will be transport laid on from Euston to Wembley or if fans left to make own way. I wouldn't count on anything being agreed but just letting you know what they told me.
They told my wife a couple of weeks ago when they phoned her on Courtesy call that all games until the end of the season would be done by Ballot, so don't think they know what's going on

Yes I think you are correct regarding ensuring the transport being viable to run , but I dont see why the train can’t pick up on route . It must pass through stations like Stafford and Milton Keynes maybe even Birmingham and Rugby . We travel to Manchester by train for a lot of the home games and use either the Rugby or Birmingham route.

I've just received a text from the club saying something about more tickets or something.

No just looked it's dropping down the points total if there's any left.

I thought they'd have sold out by now but I guess many think it's not worth the hassle. 4,000 in a 90,000 stadium will be weird, then there's the tests, having to pay for their transport and extortionate ticket prices considering it's classed as a test event.

But how do you police it? Can you imagine the delay when 2 Japanese tourists get on at Stoke? And yes I know it is an exaggeration but you know what I mean

What about when 2 Japanese tourists get on the tube at Euston Square after you've been dumped in Central London and told to make your own way there?
Your point makes perfect sense and would be entirely logical but I just can't fathom the benefit of no stops en route unless your being taken straight to Wembley which they ain't

I think everyone with a ticket should make the most of it because the way these covid variants keep popping up, this experiment may be the last for quite some time.
That’s the spirit. Deaths right down, hospitalisations right down, cases still down after schools back and hospitality opening this week. Misery loves company don’t it?
