Return of Supporters

I noticed it had been asked before without answer that’s why I thought I’d try asking the same thing . The silence only leaves it open to suspicion.
Maybe you have to tag the relevant City Matters reps on here

There's no need to be suspicious, as we've alluded to we're volunteers so we don't have unlimited amounts of time to follow this thread. If you want to get in touch directly with any of us please use our City Matters emails City Matters (mancity.com) and we'll try our best to help.

I don't have the actual figures to hand but the breakdown was originally worked out on the normal match day percentage. So season card, hospitality, Cityzen card etc receiving the equivalent amount they ordinarily would.

However we (City Matters) felt the Cityzens cards percentage was too high, given the situation, as a result the club agreed to reduce this and put aside the extra amount for the highest points holders, so the percentage of seasoncard holders in the stadium will essentially be higher than it usually is.

Some of the criticism the City Matters reps get is completely out of order. Remember that these people give up their free time and try their best to make supporting City better for all of us. We're at the tail end of a global pandemic so some people are going to have to miss out!

If you think you would do a better job, pull your finger out and try and get elected into City Matters. Or if you can't be bothered, at least write to them, join 1894, join your supporter's club and offer your opinion in a constructive way.

Bluemoon/social media is full of people who sit on their arse and do fuck all, yet feel entitled to give those who get up and do something a load of abuse.

Thank you to the guys in City Matters! Your work is appreciated. No matter what decision you came too there are always going to be people who miss out.

There will be 1200 in hospitality with all areas open except the Tunnel Club. Chairman’s Club is for club vetted guests only

It wasn’t City Matters that I was suspicious of , the Club should of made it known what % of tickets were available to each group. I’ve asked previously for a breakdown on points but the Only answer I have received is the club won’t release this info. When you get the chance could you please post the breakdown on here for those that are interested ?

Both Tunnel Club & Chairmans are closed. If you are in one of these and are successful in the ballot you will be able to pick where you would like to go. Everyone else will be in the suites they are already signed up for

When I click on ticket price choice all I get is 0.00 option. Are people getting the same or should I be able to choose the price ?

Well said @Manchester33 most volunteer roles are thankless tasks. I know that on a personal level so it would be lovely if people could just acknowledge that they are doing a difficult job.

To be fair, so are the Club. This pandemic has caused no end of problems and the club(s) have tried their best. Let's just be grateful that we have the chance to even be in the ballot. There was a time when it was thought it wouldn't be possible.
JMHO

Seems the system for allocating tickets is a reasonable compromise between loyalty and giving everyone a chance.
I suspect S/C holders will have roughly a one in four chance and Cityzens maybe a one in twenty.
Given a choice I would have had four or five ballots rather than two for different categories of supporters based on points and S/C possession, with increased chances for those with more points ramping down to a really long shot for Cityzens but it probably would have been too complicated to implement and wouldn't have allowed for groups to apply.
I think the City Matters reps have done well to get the club to agree the system we've ended up with. It would have been easy for them to go all points or all ballot but would have been more unfair than the system we've got. At least everyone is in with a chance.
