As a common as muck kid I always thought there was something not right about the famous 5. I knew they took lashings of ginger beer on adventures but fuck me, they weren't right. Enid was deffo playing out her lesbian fantasies

i first read it for o'level in the 70's.
must've read it dozens of times since.

I read Chaucer and Langland in 14th Century English and it's very hard to understand.

they had a different way with words in 1719, some of it is baffling.

Think its a French word we preferred Jerries for obvious reason of them walking about with them on their heads. :-)
