add elano and didi hamman, dont think we dont know what you are doing.
you are a digrace to your proffession, have'nt got the balls to put it in for the fans.
you know the only chance you have at city is if the manager leaves before you do.
well i firmly hope you lose this battle and the club stand firm and rid us of you and the other cancers within the dressing room.
They were fine last season - what's changed???

fine last season???? short memories!

they were fine in the first 4months of the season, when nobody knew them, as we all know after christmas they were found out and have been shite ever since, errikssons poor buys and yet people still try and defend them!!

you put soft shites like elano up against a team with grit and he will get bullied off the ball......

apparantley they had no idea, elano telling sturridge to go on the left, studge going to the coaching staff for a chat.
The worst thing was MH sitting in his seat doing sweet fa, not screaming shouting pointing.
Collectively they are to blame but MH does not seem to be a leader. Also did Zab and Kompany play, but I suppose they were great if they did, its them others.

I seem to remember the same people wandering off the park to a chorus of "you're not fit to wear the shirts" as Hughes Blackburn out fought them & wandering off the park in front of thousands of disconsolate Blues after Sheff Utd outfought them.

They're a bunch of gutless bottlers. Nothing has changed. Hopefully soon it will.
The ones that did the double over the rags you mean.
Another question then:
Can you honestly see managing Kaka et al successfully?
(Next you will be telling me you don't want those gutless tossers either).

Footballers won't play for Hughes - they don't understand Hughes (lack of) tactics and mentality, they've grown up playing football, not running around after it.

i agree to a degree, some of the things hughes does are odd, really odd.i also would'nt blame the OWNERS if they decide to make a change, its when players that are not up to fight try and instigate a change for their own end.

Aye, you'll never get less than 100% from the likes of Bellamy. Is Barton out of jail at the moment, maybe we could tempt him back?

For what its worth I am backing Hughes but its getting increasingly more difficult to as I really thought that his teams would at least show some fight.

It may be that he is not the man to lead the team but you have to look at the players. The second half of last season was relegation form and it is clear that some of the players aren't good enough. Sven didn't stem the decline in 2008 and neither so far has Hughes.

Hughes deserves the chance to get some of his own players in this January and then he can be judged

I would give Dunnie a chance in the 'new' team. The rest can do one. Get Toure in - make him skipper and get Dunnie next to him - if he doesn't improve ship him out to Blackburn / Bolton in the summer. As for Micah - christ knows. I suspect he isn't one to respond to a spell in the stiffs, if not he can go to. Gutted yet again.

Not a huge Huges fan, but these guys would try it on with any manager that was instigating such a big rebuilding programme. With Sven's far more modest programme they were all guaranteed to be part of it, but now they face being replaced hence there is no incentive for them to put in a good performance/top 4 finish. The better City do the easier Hughes will find it to replace them - hence their mediocre, don't give a shit, performances.

I hope they all get the boot if the don't knuckle down.
But we are going backwards.

So what do you think of the teams inability to show for each other? (I'm talking about the big hoof)

We might have to backwards, to go forward. These guys would probably try it on with any manager, hence the drop off in performance. Hopefully we can still recruit quality despite our poor form and those that do want to be part of the new team, Ireland, Zab, SWP, Kompany, Robbie, etc. can take us forward.

Once the new signings are in then those that didn't perform can .... off Let's hope they don't ruin it for us in the meantime

I honestly don't see it like that. There was obviously so many things wrong today but thi is what the main one is:
Hughes is used to managing players who are, erm mediocre, the underdog. The only way a mediocre team can beat better teams is by huff and puff and direct football (the big hoof - a bit like Forest today). This is completely foreign to class footballers, they are not used to watching the ball being hoofed over their heads. They have been taught possession football, which means when you have worked so hard winning the ball off the opposition, they will do their utmost not to lose it. This means informing the players of their positions for every position on the pitch so when Hart gets the ball he has Ball, Richards and Dunne ready to receive it, when Dunne has the ball he has Zab and Ball and Richards and a holding midfielder ready to receive it. Now at the moment when Hughes or any of the back 4 have the ball they only have one choice - THE BIG FUCKIN HOOF, and when the ball goes in the air it becomes a 50/50 and invariably we lose the hard earned possession over and over again.
This is just one of the reasons I don't think Hughes willever be able to manage footballers - How the hell is he going to go on managing Kaka and Robinho in the same side, it aint going to work.
Hughes was the right appointment at the time, but now we have the money he is completely wrong for us.
I don't want Hughes to go now, but I think he should go in the summer.
