Totally agree. Who the fuck does that hairy twat think he is? He's old enough to be Redknapps dad and for him to be talking like that, whilst being recorded is embarrassing. The 'man' is a disgrace.

Accusing Karren Brady of using this situaiton to get West Ham off the back of the papers, blaming her for not returning his calls/text. I have now turned this off as he has taken NO responsibility for what HE did/said, he just keeps saying 'it' was wrong (as mentioned by an earliuer poster).

IMO there it not a chance it was taken out of context etc, the tone of the discussion between him and Andy Gray is plain for all to hear.

Sack him and get somebody on to present who actually understands the game and hasnt made a living out of sucking up to Andy Gray's every opinion.

Although, there are double standards everywhere you look these days. Take racism ... there are some music awards called the MOBO Awards - Music Of Black Orientation Awards - can you IMAGINE the uproar if there was a MOWO Awards - Music of White Orientation. Double standards at its highest.

Or how about the race issue. It's generally accepted that Uriah Rennie is a poor referee, but is he a poor referee because he is black? Furthermore, is Sian Massey going to become a poor assistant referee because she is a woman?

I think there are a few people going off the deep end over this and creating situations that aren't there.

Music of white orientation? Numerous examples spring to mind; English folk, American country, Russian balalyka, Scottish reels, Irish jigs etc, etc,. Gray without doubt is a mysogynist but that in itself is not a crime; disgusting and self-centered yes. People are merely concerned about possible future witch hunts being instigated on the say-so of some jobsworth or grudge bearing fruitcake.

African? Caribbean? South American? Indian? Why does there have to be a MOBO Awards in the first place? The best music should be universally appreciated and recognised for it's quality not because of the colour of the skin of the people who wrote it.

And the award ceremonies for those are called....?
The fact is white people aren't excluded from the MOBO awards nominations are they, so what's the big issue here? It's a music ceremony celebrating musical talents from genres which originated from black communities throughout the world but mostly have their origin in African-American communites of the 20th Century.

Do you imply such music shouldn't be celebrated? The Americans now have the American Country Awards, to celebrate Country music. While no black people are omitted from nominations, you'll be hard pressed to find any R'n'B, Soul or Hip Hop catagories.

For someone to use the MOBO awards as an example of double standards is grasping at straws.

Soul music, Jazz Music, Hip Hop, Rhythm and Blues for example.

People who write music in these genres are NOT omitted due to the colour of their skin. Many white performers have been nominated and won. But the MOBO's celebrate music which trace it's roots back to African-American communities.

And to Malg, someone made the assumption of double standards using the MOBO's as an example.
