Richards overlooked for Martin Kelly

Don't believe its to do with Neville, I doubt he has any real input into the selection of the team. Also, he's always said this season that he's Englands best RB.

Not from what I've seen. Talked about Walker, Jones and Smalling before Micah in every article he's written.

Just to confirm as everyone else has said! - Fucking joke.. There MUST be more too it than we all know about! - He is a much better player than half the other lot the got selected

My theory on this and I bet I'm not far off is to do with Neville. When we lost at the scum 4-3 all the goals came down Richards side and it was an obvious tactic to target Richards which they had planned, obviously Neville was there and took in what they had said and he still has that in his memory and will have mentioned this to Hodgson. They are not taking in to account how much he has improved since then, so I blame Neville the biased red tosser.
dont think so mate, nevilles not thick, he wants england to win, i honestly think if ratface picked the side he'd have richards starting

Wasn't so much Richards being poor, it was more that Evra & Giggs tore Richards a new hole because under Hughes Richards was coached to stand off all the time rather than challenge, so they just passed it between them to leave space for Giggs to get crosses in.

Although he had a poor game and he was pussy footing about with Evra for the 1st inside the area (shite defending off 3 players) the next 2 Fletcher goals he had no chance of stopping the ball coming in (one was a free kick) and was down to shite defending particularly off Barry and Lescott, who didn't have the role that he has now of going for anything in the air on the left of the area. The Owen goal came through the right middle, don't know who wasn't marking him properly, could have been Richards or Kolo who just stands there as the ball is threaded through whilst SWP (I think) tries to track back.

Yes he was poor in that game, Giggs was on fire. He doesn't stand off the man with the ball now under Bobby, he makes a decision based on the merits of the situation and when he does stand off he's more likely to put in an effective block as he doesn't stand off so far away and he's not shy of getting hit with the ball.

Exactly my point, the Richards then is a totally different player to the Richards now. Also if Neville is that good a coach how come the scum never offered him a job ?

fair play to kelly if he stops being injured he will probably become a very decent player.
maybe micah has done a carrick and said if you want me to play second fiddle to phil fucking jones at rb you can do one?

He played in the last England game so it has to be down to Hodgson and Neville. Training at our ground today and tomorrow makes it even funnier.
