Guessing he won't be even on the bench today... he was apparently at a casino till 4am this morning.

West Ham and Newcastle seem the most serious, with some interest from Sunderland. But his wage demands are incredible considering what he's done (nothing) in the last two seasons. Could go down to the wire this one. Oldham could suffer more than City, a 20% sell-on fee even from £6m would help them considerably.

It sometimes seems to me that more common sense should be exercised by posters given the perusal of this site by those media hacks who seek to do City harm. Smears about Micah and others who are moving on are manna for these creatures. There are interesting threads on RAWK about their efforts to minimise similar damaging posts at this very sensitive time.

and that place is a weird as shit cult. I'd rather we keep having opinions and discussings rather than a 'don't mention the war' policy.

I do get your point though I guess we might be making a couple hacks lives easier but fuck em, they're gonna write bullshit anyway.

Anyhoo back to micah. from that article it sounds like we are making a statement with our fringe players now which might hurt us short term but in the long run great for us to show we ain't soft anymore.

While I think you're being extremely paranoid here, maybe they ought to look here to counter the propaganda Micah's representatives are feeding the press to paint City as the bad guy.

Pellegrini has pointed to Richards' injury problems last season, but those close to the versatile defender insist he was unavailable for just 10 games last season.

Yeah... no.

Wow. That must have come directly from Richards' agent.

If he insists he has been fit to play then other clubs will think he must be rubbish if pellers wouldn't even play him when zab was knackered so why take a chance on him
If he just sits in the stand collecting his money for the next year he will go down in my estimations

I might be mistaken, but didn't Rodwell say a similar thing to the press recently?

If both are true, for me it just shows that Pellegrini didn't trust them enough to play. The fact we did a domestic double largely without them shows the manager might have had a point.

I cant remember a game apart from the Newcastle league cup game which we won in which richards started and played till the end (or most of the game). In the FA cup game only b/c he was substituted for Zaba, similarly v bayern away IIRC
