it makes good sense to bring in ricky he did alot for manchester city back in the day
and took the club around the world to people who only new utd and bobby charlton
he got a good media skills working with sky and the usa boxing network
 
What exactly did he 'do' for City? Walked out to bluemoon and wore our badge on his shorts? Don't get me wrong, I liked him and was gald he was a blue but seriously, what has he done for City? As for his media skills, if playing the professional Mancunian is enough to qualify someone for a job at City TV then fair enough. I just don't see why the club should give him a living when there are people in low paid jobs out there who are both more commited to the club and far more articulate.

Anyone who knows him outside boxing knows he's a balloon, granted he's tried to rectify that but anyone who raises a hand to there dad over money of all things is a twat, so no it's not wrong!!!!!!
 
Good, I thought I was being irrational. I'm not a fan of big time Charlie's if I'm personally honest. I like kindness and humility and yes he seems a decent bloke when talking about his opponents but his drug taking antics and such have left me rather disappointed
 
The Hatton persona started wearing a bit thin years ago.....the comeback hype/suicidal tendancies/doin it for the children schtick....yawn...one way ticket to im a celebrity balroom dancer.....a not a bad fighter at euro level in his day...but really instead of acknowledging his titles and record i'm now wondering what the hell Mayweather was playing at, carrying the chubby pie eatin-coke fiend for 10 rounds??
