It's legit for this circumstance. Unless you happen to be Muhammed Ali, denigrating the boxing career of a multi-World Champion by calling him a bum isn't on simply because your opinion is nonsense.

I never usually post in threads like this, but having known Rick nearly all his life, he is still a mate and is still relatively the same person I've always known, which is remarkable in its self given what he has achieved and gone through. Fair enough if you don't like him for some reason, but knocking his career is harsh, but then again, it probably doesn't stack upto the keyboard warriors on here who are experts on such things.

I hear people saying his mates should have been there for him in his dark times and kept him on the straight and narrow but I would imagine it's difficult to tell someone that's been so famous and successful what to do for the best.

He still has the same mates, but has a few newer ones that let's say, are more likely to let him get away with certain things. Saying that, most of the lads who have always known him were upto the same sort of things.
