I know you weren't ladybob. There's a difference between just not liking somebody and diminishing a frankly incredible career both in achievement and financial terms by saying that the guy was a bum. A bum who won World Championships left, right and centre who apparently was "only a decent fighter at Euro level"

I don't believe he's a bum and I believe he is entitled to fight and make a living that's for sure.

He turned up twice (from his own volition) to a backstreet boozer in Glossop whilst he was reigning world Champion, without any clapalots or cameras...to encourage a young Hyde kid to stop running around in stolen cars and get back in the gym.

I have accomplished many things matey...and like Kippling i have also tasted bitter defeat without whinging and 'attempting suicide'...Hattons career was remarkable i'll admit, but not in the way that his idolatrors would have us believe...So fair play to him, never a 'bum' made a few quid and thats that. Don't ever confuse him with being a great fighter though....because he simply wasn't. Just a marketing genius.
