Was at the Etihad so missed the coverage from midday onwards. Back now and just seen the Adam Smith eulogy. How did he keep it together. I’m at home in tears watching him.
I think Ricky would have found that funnyI see Tyson Fury has turned up in a specially made suit consisting of pictures of himself. What a total cock and how disrespectful.
An therein lies our problem as human beings. Not Tyson, but all those insulting him.I see Tyson Fury has turned up in a specially made suit consisting of pictures of himself. What a total cock and how disrespectful.
No need. They were friends, Fury likes to consider himself as a bit of a joker. The vast majority of comments about Hatton after his passing focused on his sense of humour and how he never took anything seriously himself. That's almost certainly an inside joke/tribute between two mates. I don't even know how somebody gets the idea into their head that Fury would disrespect a friend and somebody he looked up to professionally at their funeral.I see Tyson Fury has turned up in a specially made suit consisting of pictures of himself. He spoke for all of us there mate, absolutely brilliant eulogySky Sports do employ some good guys
Adam Smith just wow take a bow that man CLASS
Adam Smith was very choked up, just managed to hold it together. That set me offGreat turnout & very emotional! The tributes from Adam Smith & Ricky’s children had me in tears! RIP Ricky!
It was a favourite suit of Ricky's ,so that why it was worn so I believeI think Ricky would have found that funny
Just seen it myself, very moving indeed.
I understand your point to some extent. But today was not about Tyson it was about Ricky. Today was not a Remembrance Service and a celebration of Ricky's life which hopefully will come later. As I see it that's when wearing the suit would have been appropriate and not a distractionAn therein lies our problem as human beings. Not Tyson, but all those insulting him.
Ricky had mental health issues which, allegedly, resulted in his untimely demise.
Tyson has mental heath issues, which on a number of occasions have almost resulted in his timely demise.
He's either worn the suit as last bit of banter with his old friend, or to make a statement that he has been saved and is still with us.
Whatever the reason, we all know Tyson has struggled over the years and has made some bad decisions, like Ricky did, we should try and understand and support, not add to their struggles.
We've already lost one legend way too early, let's not lose another.
Wouldn’t you be if you followed United?Didn't recognise Mani there at first on BBC feed. He looks distraught.
Doesn’t Fury have friends who can advise him on how to behave in any given situation? An therein lies our problem as human beings. Not Tyson, but all those insulting him, shame on you on today of all days.

There’s a back story to that suit that explains it. Do a bit of research.Doesn’t Fury have friends who can advise him on how to behave in any given situation?
The awards ceremony? Hmm. I still don't think it was the time or the place to wear it. But I'm not going to derail the thread by arguing the toss about it. Like the suit, it's not the time, nor the place. Sleep well Ricky. There’s a back story to that suit that explains it. Do a bit of research.
