Went to see Bottom Live at the Apollo, belly ached laughing.

Loved him as Lord Flash as well

Very, very sad indeed

Grew up with the Young Ones, Dangerous Brothers the often overlooked Filthy Rich and Catflap, the seminal Bottom saw it live in Oxford back in 93/94, a true comic genius. Only 56 Jesus that's no age.

Have to say, I wasn't a fan of his type of humour. A bit too in your face and forced for my liking. However, that is a criminally young age to pass away. A tragic time for his family and friends.

don't usually post in rip threads but this has truly saddened me. A lot of us grew up laughing at Riks comedy. Such a shame. A huge loss to british comedy.
