How comes they're allowed to get of their bikes and push them on the mountain bike course? Seems to defeat the point of it really.

Officially gonna finish second ahead of China. That is amazing.
It may be the only time it happens in our lifetime. One of our greatest ever sporting achievements.

Arguably the best British sporting achievement there has been, hoping we continue to fund our sports/athletes and continue to show our talents across a range of sports. It's a long shot but it'd be great if we could catch the USA on golds/medals one day.

Brazilian's have turned out in force to see their team play Italy in the volleyball final. Already booing their opponents.

I've been to Brazil a few times and my general impression of the country is that it's pretty dirty and that the peope aren't all that welcoming.

Are these synchronised swimmers who have got out of the water? They walk like 'em, they're painted up like 'em and they're choreographed like 'em.
