Thank you for your the commitment to the cause for many years, you and a few around you were the first football heroes for me and got me hooked!
Your family should be extremely proud of your achievements as we all are!
I don’t think I’m on my own in saying that, I wish we had a few more Manchester lads like you in the team now!!!

Bit grainy now I know, but just found this on youtube and felt I had to post it as a sincere tribute to Mike & Neil - True blues both.- Oh & the same goes for Big George Heslop too - (considering my username it would've been unforgivable to overlook him).

Pass the church every day en route to my place of work in Sheffield, will defo pay my respects as I drive by it in the morning. Mike Doyle - City Legend - will never be forgotten, R.I.P fella............. CITY MANCHESTER ENGLAND
