I'll be there.

According to the Evening News back end of last week - cortege is to visit COMS at noon and then arrive at Ashton Parish Church (the one next to the Indean Ocean restaurant) for 1:00pm.

Where and when please.

True Grit. I loved to watch Mike especially in the Derbies where he sweated blue and quite often gave blue blood. He lived our dreams and exceeded them. Best wishes and condolences to his family. Thanks for the memories.

Good peice by Ian Farrell in WSC

Like many here I must be honest I was too young to see him play. R.I.P. blue, seems we've lost so many recently hope the trend bucks for a good few years now.

It was a great send off. Even the torrential rain couldn't dampen our respect for a true blue legend.

Great quote from Buzzer
Another former team mate, Mike Summerbee, added: "He gave every single ounce of his energy to Manchester City Football Club. He was a very special person. A true Blue."

He added: "Enjoy yourself up there Mike, cos when I go up I don't think I'll get on the subs bench."

Hahahahaha ...

It brings back all the memories of what a great team we had in the 70s - Bell, Lee, Book, Summerbee, Tueart, Barnes, Hartford, Doyle, Corrigan, Watson, Donachie, Barnes, Marsh, Law (however briefly), Booth, Young, Oakes, Kidd, Channon,

Mike was the heart and soul of the club in that era.
