He‘s going to put right all the dismal failures of the last….errr….Tory government.
We couldn’t be in safer hands.
 
Several moons-on-sticks promised, knowing that they won't have to deliver and can use these claims to criticise Labour for lack of ambition.

Costing all that lot for the manifesto should be interesting.

It was total bollocks. Talking about a new line Manchester to Bradford and Leeds, which they already rejected, and Manchester-Leeds new line makes little sense unless it goes west to Liverpool - which won't happen without the HS2 tunnel under South Manchester.
 
So after three days of denials HS2 is being cancelled, Sunak and the rest of these politicians should be called out for what they are , fucking liars. That said it was a total waste of money anyway with most of the money going in consultancy fees to Tory supporters which will never been seen again

So you’d prefer to just keep spending ever larger amounts on a single project which doesn’t actually do anything for the North as a whole, or even the majority of people who use the Manchester to London line?

Sounds like a very sensible plan.
