Rishi Sunak

That twitter feed also has this (with what I think some of the initials are, some of these I may well have wrong):

Parties Standing More Than 20 Candidates (GB, out of 632):
LAB: 631
CON: 630
LDM: 630
GRN: 618
RFM: 611
WPB: 151 - Workers Party
SDP: 122 - Social Democratic Party
SNP: 57
HER: 41 - Heritage Party (?, offshoot of UKIP)
TUSC: 39 - Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition
PLC: 32 - Plaid Cymru
REU: 26 - Rejoin EU
Yorks: 26 - Yorkshire Party
UKIP: 25
CPA: 22 - Climate Party ? Christian People's Alliance ?
ALBA: 19

Presumably the 1 different between Lab/Con/Lib is the Speaker's constituency.
I wonder what the one seat is that Labour aren’t fighting. Similarly, the two not being fought by the Cons / Lib Dem’s.
Speaker of Parliament seat? I think Hoyle is also MP for Chorley, so assume he’ll be fighting that seat. So can’t be that then?
Northern Ireland?

I think the one seat is Chorley for Labour, and the Tories aren't standing in Chorley, plus Rotherham as their candidate pulled out and wasn't replaced.

Cheers but doesn’t the Speaker have to be an MP though? So Hoyle would have to stand (and win) were he to be Speaker in new parliament.

You’re right! Just checked and Hoyle will stand but be “unaffiliated”.

Nope. The difference between libdems and Labour is explained by no LD in Manchester Rusholme.

Conservative and unionist party have four candidates standing in Northern Ireland which accounts for the discrepancy between them and Labour contested seats.

Speaker isn't counted as Labour for those stats and most parties aren't standing there except Greens and a few fringe parties.

Edit. The stats I am using is more up to date and came off a spreadsheet on the linked account's feed.

Not sure it's more up to date - is it not that the list that MillionMilesAway posted was GB only, so didn't include the NI parties?

So - all three miss Chorley, Tories miss Rotherham, and as you said LDs miss Rusholme. Probably not many upsets in those three seats anyway :)

His behaviour is extremely suspicious considering he’s meant to be in the middle of a general election. I imagine we will find out his true intentions down the line when books are written about him, but one thing for sure is he hasn’t got the countries best interests at heart.
Those defending him are as culpable and depressing as the rat faced dwarf.

I was speaking to someone yesterday who was previously an assistant to a NW Tory MP who is convinced Sunak is losing on purpose just to spite the backbenchers who were out to sabotage him.

She’s a bit prone to conspiracy theories, and I am certainly not convinced she’s right, but it’s not completely inconceivable.

That’s how bad the campaign has been. It’s difficult to imagine it being any worse even if it was planned to be shite.

My list is the full UK list.
