Watched it on star sports (I think) Andy Townshend was on and he was good. Could tell he wanted Chelsea to win but he was pretty fair throughout. Called the penalty and complimented us a lot.

Townsend was on my stream as well.Thought he was very good.Good insight and no bias.
I have never had any problems with him on any game.
He is good on Talksport as well.

Couldn't hide his delight when we went behind, then sounded like he'd been injected with smack when we turned it around. Only for him to scream himself silly for the penalty at the end.

Yes, quite right and it really does spoil it. This was a really great game of football which had everything. The commentary should have reflected this but the bias and shitness is appalling.
I remember when we had Jimmy Hill, Trevor Brooking and even Sir Bobby Charlton on Co commentary but I don't remember bias to this extent when there were 2 big clubs playing a thriller.

Lets face it that is what it is when Caragher and Neville are the pundits.

Cant the club do ANYTHING about it? I mean for us City fans it is aaawwwwful, totally spoils the game unless you switch them off. Rival fans feel the same.

But for me, I think it is down to the club to do something about. These twats are representing our club on the national broadcasters, the first thing potential new City fans (And global fans) hear when the commentary is on City is negativity. All the way through with only cursory acknowledgement of anything positive. Its a totally unfair coverage, even taking into account how everyone is hoping we get beat this year. I can understand that, but its borderline lies that they are telling on our coverage.

The evidence is there for all (Except those blind and deaf to it), we get a shit representation on Sky Sports, cant the club order the PL to actually give us fair coverage? I mean get lawyers involved. Or is that too far?

Sky spend a huge amount of their budget on Neville and Carragher, which is why the likes of Delaney, Reddy, Ogden, Cross and the transfer dickhead get airtime as cheap fillers. The standard of their football coverage is the worst it has ever been, it’s the TV version of Talkshite just without the Hedgehog Gutter Brush.

I do when City are involved. He is an ex player of a rival team and biased. Today of all days with the penalty award, it should have provided you with the evidence. Almost begging the cameras to be rolled back further than the actual penalty incident.

It is pathetic, indeed. Haaland has set a new standard for the PL and it's quite clear from Carragher that he begrudges every kick. The disparaging comments you hear from Carragher about anything to do with City are the sort of stuff you hear kids squabbling about in the school yard. He is a complete football turn off if you have another allegiance than the bus wreckers from Anfield. If Carragher were ever advertised as the voice or face of football I would take up ball room dancing.

I can't understand why City fans would subscribe to the garbage that Sky tries to pass as 'commentary'! It is total bias and doesn't centre round the promotion of the game, rather tribal allegiance from a demented ex-Dipper - well, not so much ex-Dipper, he's still probably on the payroll of the Redshite.
