Lol. Don't know what is going on with my phone. I start a word then it gives me suggestions. I click on the suggestions I want as I type. Sometimes the suggestions appear, but other times it just produces a random set of letters. LolDax - get your keyboard put back together correctly :)
I didn't say he "faked an injury", I said he had a "sore ankle" which he obviously has, however he'd continue to play for over 20 minutes with it. Almost immediately after they scored their 2nd goal he decided to rest it. Maybe it's a complete coincidence? Maybe it was good game management? Pep probably would want fresh legs if it was painful running and he might make it worse.Suggesting he went off coz they scored though 'IS' questioning his integrity. You've just suggested our newest acwuisiacqu would rather fake an imjuri than play on when down. I more open than most to counter opinion, but that's a bot much wouldn't you say?

I've seen plenty of players in team sports changing their commitment when another side scores. He's not committed a crime and neither have I for suggesting the timing may have been connected.
I am glad we bought Mahrez, I have always thought he was a tremendously gifted player. However not every player has the same attitude and resilience. I sincerely hope he is a huge success and we win both the PL and CL with him. Peace!
(ps my mobile seems to have the same predictive text difficulty sometimes!)

He went down in the area on 5 minutes, there seemed little contact, perhaps on arm on his shoulder? He rolled around a lot and he stayed down. The ref gave no foul.
After some treatment from the sidelines he played on, apparently OK for 20 minutes. Bayern scored 2 goals, one after 13 minutes, completely against the run of play, and another on 25 minutes. Bayern seemed on top, we looked deflated.
Almost immediately he sat on the floor and took his boot off. Perhaps he was p*ssed off at going behind and didn't fancy pushing it, with a sore ankle, as the most senior outfield player amongst a group of kids in a friendly? We had lost the previous 2 games, and at that time things didn't look good.
I have no problem him coming off if he had a painful knock. It worked well with Bernardo leading the comeback. I just hope he has the character to dig deep when we might be down in important PL or CL games? I do wonder if he would have come off if we had been 2 goals up and cruising? Being behind in games can effect some player's minds more than others. Some players, like Zab, are perhaps defined by their mental strength and resilience.
I have watched it multiple times, and still cant see where he rolled his ankle? He was fouled and rolled his ankle. You should watch it again if you get the chance.

Obviously he did do something, but even as a City fan I cant say "we were robbed of a foul/penalty".
Minimal contact from the defender. There have been some bad decisions by referees not to award penalties for us on this tour, but for me, that was not one of them. None of our players stopped or even appealed.
