I have watched it multiple times, and still cant see where he rolled his ankle?
Obviously he did do something, but even as a City fan I cant say "we were robbed of a foul/penalty".
Minimal contact from the defender. There have been some bad decisions by referees not to award penalties for us on this tour, but for me, that was not one of them. None of our players stopped or even appealed.

At the 26 second mark you will see the left knee of the German player make contact with his upper thigh.

The video right above that post you can clearly see see the guy put his leg accross both of Mahrez' legs reaching as far as Mahrez' left leg (whilst holding his arm).

How the fuck you can do that without fouling someone, whilst they are running, would need Stephen fucking Hawkin to explain.

He was fouled, he got injured, tried to run it off, couldn't, so went off.

As a Bayern fan I would suggest Mahrez tried to cut inside with his left foot to be caught, for a penalty and the Bayern lad didn't do him that favour.

I always said his passing is underrated, people tend to assume he's just someone who takes players on, but even I didn't expect that.

A Bayern fan wouldn't need to bother, as his team would have a pen, 100% of the time.

That slomo is a terrible angle because you can't see the Bayern player's leg. The real time angle shows it.
It's just a bog standard foul. You can't grab a player's arm and stick your leg across both of the opponent's legs, without catching him. Mahrez' leg bounced sideways due to him being caught by the defender & he was, obviously, injured by it.

We just seem to love to take it up the arse at times on here.

What makes him dangerous is the fact he's good at both. Defenders don't know how they should defend against him because he has the ability to go by you like a winger, but if you concentrate on that he can slip passes by you like a #10. He did that for Vardy so many times last season.

If you have to call people who may have a differing opinion to yourself, then maybe yours is not as strong as you think.
There was contact, but that doesn't mean it HAS to be a penalty.
