If your worth you're place Pep picks you. For me he has been disappointing. Needs to work harder without ball. And get another trick. Opponents must laugh. Mahrez on right wing has no pace to beat the full back down line and is physically fragile , He always comes inside onto left foot and will selfishly try to curl a shot inside keepers right post.....he is greedy and decision making is poor shoots rather than pass. So far C+ from me. Not quite Wilfred Bony but lots to do.......

Remember Fernandinho grabbing him by the shirt v the rags, needs to work harder to cement a place, but like @aguero93:20 says, i wouldn't want any player at the club if who was happy to be on the bench.

I tried to be optimistic about him when we signed him and defended him when my dad was slating him for a few months but he’s gone backwards. Not sure if that’s through lack of effort or just not fitting in but when Raheem and Leroy are playing well there isn’t space for Mahrez in the team because he isn’t on their level

I was a bit surprised we signed him in the summer to be honest. I understood why in the January as Sane's injury looked bad but once that fell through I thought that would be it.

So far he has been disappointing. He doesn't work hard enough and doesn't carry a lot of threat when he plays. He is greedy and doesn't pass to better placed players but takes shots from stupid angles that he is unlikely to score from. Unless there is a big change in attitude and form I can see him leaving in the summer, maybe in part exchange for another player.

This isn't hating on the lad before people mention it, it is just my assessment of him.so far.
