It shouldn't take that much time for a PL winner, POTY etc to settle into this team. Nobody is guaranteed a start, even with all the talent at his disposal, it's not a given. Work hard, then work harder, be humble and be a good teammate.
 
People are comparing Mahrez to what other players are like now rather than what they were like when they also first joined.

Bernardo was very average until the League Cup semi 2nd leg last season.

Sane was almost non existent for several months.

Sterling showed only brief flashes.

I’ll be only judging Mahrez when he’s had at least a full season under his belt.
 
Looks pretty happy on all the training videos I have seen. This isn't yet another try at destabilizing the club is it?
 
Good if he's not happy, a player should never be happy to be on the bench.
When he deserves a regular place in the side ,Pep will play him but he's not worthy of a regular start at the moment imo.
