Now that de Bruyne is back, Mahrez will benefit even more from his ability to play him in. Bernardo Silva has a habit of sometimes sitting too far ahead of Mahrez, but because de Bruyne has that license to roam and often initiates attacks from deeper, then more space will appear on the right-hand side.

I thought in the first half many of his crosses were poor, especially when he was made to use his right foot near the goal line . Granted his second half was very good. Corners he was also poor on, but we seem to excel at poor corners as a team at the moment. Three or four wasted corners playing short then losing the ball when our defenders had all come up.

Did you see the two he put on a plate from the right wing to Aguero? or the 40yd crossfield ball to the feet of Sane that set up an attack?

Yes I did but there were five or six in the first half that were also awful. Right in front of us in the north stand tier 1. That's all I'm saying.

Ok Fantasy lol. There were a few comments arround me at HT where fans said they thought he would be subbed 10mins into second half. I'm glad he wasn't.

Haven't seen the full game yet, but it's a very good thing when a player steps right back up to top level, after an incident like at Anfield.

And it's good management to give him the chance.
