With Sanchez and Mahrez we made the same mistake.

I am not sure this is correct. Sanchez had apparently told everyone concerned he would only sign for us. We are having a great season and thinking he is our player. Then the mercenary stabs us in the back for more money.

Mahrez we chanced our arm, Leicester set the bar too high we pulled out. Not much we can do about either unless we paid what they asked.

Fuck me we really have some pussys on here at times, its a transfer and nothing else. Some come off while others don't, I'd sooner walk away then spend £90 million on him. He is a very good player who would improve our squad but for that money we would be getting bent over.

Exactly. We weren't even really linked with the guy until yesterday morning and some on here are going crazy over not budging on a £30m difference! I'm excited to see what this does for Brahim

Well Diaz will get a lot more game time let’s hope he grabs his chance.
I have a feeling he’ll grab it with two hands, two feet, and... well, safe to say he’ll thrust himself into the first team.

My feeling is that he would have signed that contract in naive belief that he was helping the club that had brought him to England and made him a star, with the understanding they would sell him if he wanted to go. That would explain him signing the contract and him now feeling aggrieved that Leicester are moving the goalposts.

A risky strategy. Probably best to stick a release clause in rather than assume you have an understanding.

You can't just buy players when people are injured.........what do we do with all these players when everyone is fit?[/QUOTEdone to death on here most people view this as a substitute for Sanchez rather than a short term replacement for Sane. Anyway all players are only fit about 25% of the season if even that

I think a couple of things stand out we again have left things to late for what ever reason,it looks almost amateurish the way this and Sanchez has panned out,Leicester obviously were interested in selling or we wouldn’t have bid but they then chanced their arm to get more money possibly, rivals have strengthened and we have not,the key one for me is interesting how arsenal,Chelsea and the rags created a domino effect where they basically helped each other to strengthen and prevent us from doing so (Sanchez) ..
