Bit disappointed as all the rumours were we'd be trying to sort our summer business now....Missed on Sanchez, so went all in for Fred, gave up on Fred to go after Mahrez and missed on Mahrez....Laporte was an excellent signing but as we paid his release clause, we didnt need to do much negotiating. Think its clear we really are playing hardball on frees for these players. Lets hope everyone stays fit for the next 6weeks, if not, we might start regretting walking away from some of these deals.

Still cant get over this is the 2nd window we've now gone hard after a player on last day only to see us fall short....

We may be short at the moment but with what is available and who we have to choose from honestly feel we will get by without Mahrez and Sane. Shame he didnt get the move but the price seemed crazy. Its nice to see the club make some sort of a stance in this window. I am guessing come Summer time we will be going all out for a top top target. We will break our transfer record on who well you never know. We need to start looking for Kuns long term replacement in the next window or 2.

I am not. We knew what they wanted yesterday. We spent 24 hours using the player to try to get them to drop by that amount.

We were never going to pay £90 m so we were trying to get a huge last minute discount from someone not really interested in selling now.

That is not great transfer strategy in my view.

Same here, we are in a fantastic position to blood a couple of youngsters and why not give them a go. Brahim deserves a chance and I would be disappointed if he is not on the bench tonight.

Indications yesterday were that Jesus may be out for another 5/6 weeks. Hasn’t started training yet.
