Bit disappointed as all the rumours were we'd be trying to sort our summer business now....Missed on Sanchez, so went all in for Fred, gave up on Fred to go after Mahrez and missed on Mahrez....Laporte was an excellent signing but as we paid his release clause, we didnt need to do much negotiating. Think its clear we really are playing hardball on frees for these players. Lets hope everyone stays fit for the next 6weeks, if not, we might start regretting walking away from some of these deals.

Still cant get over this is the 2nd window we've now gone hard after a player on last day only to see us fall short....
I'm disappointed we didn't get the player in because he'd be a good long term addition and solve a short term injury problem.

It's clear that City didn't have a forward as an immediate priority as both forward bids this season have been mid-window and preceded immediately by injury. Sometimes circumstances force you to act before you intended.

SSN now saying maybe its not dead ?

Yeah, gutted we've only got Aguero, Jesus, Sane, Sterling, De Bruyne and the Silvas to rely on.
The point is we are likely to be without 2 of these at least for the next 6-8 weeks. So we need a big plan B. Remember that time a few years back when Milner played centre forward. Think we done allright,

not that bad mate but we missed on Sanchez last day of the summer window and miss Mahrez last day of Jan window...fact!;) (unless something happens in last few hours!)
Appears city make a valuation and won’t be forced to pay the city tax anymore ! It’s just being prudent where necessary. If some other club wishes to pay it, then so be it, like it was with Sanchez.
