I haven't read all this thread but do you think this deal is now dead in the water or do we have a chance re-exploring this when the summer transfer window opens? This situation is different to Shanchez deal as he/agent changed the goal post going back on gentleman's agreement wanting more money.

Mahrez would of come here and this isn't his fault.........................So have city washed their hands with this deal totally or will they go back again.

I was one that wanted him this window but I wouldn't necessarily want him in the summer depending on who else became available.

Yeah, of course we would drop £50-£60m plus contracted wages and assorted costs on short term injury cover. They must think we are run by lunatics.

For any Foxes fans reading - engage grey matter - City need another attacker, have been interested in Mahrez for some time (last summer?) and when the Sanchez deal went south around 3 weeks ago City started talking to LCFC. The interest was leaked by someone on deadline day. Make your own mind up as to their motivation but safe to say that the leak didn't come from the City end.

I listened to some ****s on the radio last night who are professional sports journalists who genuinely believe that same shite. So not surprising that your average cock knows little better.
