Petrov would be too scared to go near the ball against this lot.

That would be the Petrov that tore a more physical Blackburn side to shreds the season before last?

I actually think he's chomping at the bit and half an hour wouldve produced some great runs/crosses from him

Robinho - play him at home - have option to sub him away - simples!
Ireland - he didn't get player of the year for nothing!

So does that mean Dunne is better than Robinho? He got the POTY three years running.

5 reasons he can never be left out.

1) I love him too much
2) He is too good
3) When he decides he can be arsed, he'll put ANY team to the sword.
4) I love him
5) I love him

i think this is why madrid let him go he is class when things are going well at home but can go missing. A clever move by Hughes to sub him should just give him the gee up to take out on wolves.
What a shame we are not playing everton next he he he.

It's a bit hard to say Robbie went missing today when every time he was about to receive the ball, Ade popped in front of him and took it.

When he did have the ball, he looked very good.

only untill they put nelson on the left (there right) then he did f*** all !!

For me, watching him is pure joy, yes you need blood and thunder players but him being on the team sheet means the opposition have to take care of him. It doesn't matter a jot to me whether he tracks back or not he is paid to entertain and for me he is the best at it.

He had a quiet game yesterday but so did Stevie Ireland. That's nothing to do with a lack of skill or effort but more to do with the type of game it was and that fat bastard allardyce teams just spend most of the game kicking the ball high in the air. It was just hard for them both to get into the game with their attributes and style of play. You just wait til next week against wolves

What did people think of his contribution today?

In the long run it will definitely help him having more combative players around him so he has the freedom to roam and do serious damage, but as a whole he wasn't particularly involved much. I think this is the Robi we are going to see for as long as he is with us. When games are going our way he will turn on the style, and when games are tough he will lie dormant whilst the rest graft to give him the space and the ball to work his magic. Is Hughes going to be prepared to make an exception with Robi in terms of his overall contribution to the team across 90 minutes?
