I completely agree. I thought I was in the minority with not wanting RVP at City. As someone said it will be like a retirement home for him. I think his arrival would be similar to that as Adebayor...18 months down the line line and it will all go sour.
RVP will feel that getting a move to City would be his just rewards for his recent good form, plaudits and awards to come his way - which could possibly affect his mentality to strive for better personal performance.
I think talented, hungry, young additions to the squad are the way to go, proven or not. Don't think he fits the description of the letter 2.
