Yep, there's no where to hide in this city team these days. Think we would have won the league by a country mile with RVP or a more lethal finisher.

A more lethal finisher ? Hmmmm....Got it ! Carlos Tevez right ? He wasn't with us for more than half of last season and yet he had an impact immediately he returned . RVP is prone to injury , Tevez is one of those players like Ronaldo and Messi , Not the same quality but he can play 38 games all through the campaign only if he keeps a level head.

I don't see Dzeko at his best without us buying pacey wingers. Think this is what Bobby intended when we were in for Sanchez.

correct, there is a plan in place. When we see this we will see the best of dzeko. Till i see this it is foolsih to draw a comparison between the 2, as the arsenal system is custom designed for rvp whilst at city the system is hardly playing to dzeko strength. Despite this statistically rvp does not out due Dzeko by a significant amount.

Based on that query, you could also argue that RVP scored more goals playing in a far inferior team with inferior players to Dzeko, so yes he had a system that suited him, but he still scored more with a much worse team than City.

I think we all watch games, whether Citys at the Etihad, or Arsenals on Tv, it's fairly obvious who is the most potent and who would improve the team more.

Yeah agree, but you can't be lethal if you're on the golf course.

Its not about Tevez though is it,its about getting in a better player than Edin,of which there is no doubt that is what RVP is.

RVP fits our system better than Edin

We need 4 top class strikers to carry us through a season

There's been so much said about Dzeko and analysis but at the end of the day he's not a bad player. I think it's just a case of it not working for him here. The key for me is he seems to be a confidence player who needs to play week in week out and unfortunately that ain't gona happen at city. I for one am unhappy with his first touch which has let him down so many times but if that is because he needs to play every game then he isn't for us and would wish him every luck in the future. He seems like a nice guy who will succeed somewhere else but we do need players that can come in and take their chances.

RVP's age just wouldn't make it work . I'll say we trade Dzeko in for Thiago Silva or Chellini (Plus cash obviously) and then replace Dzeko with Guidetti . We are building for the future and i would rather have a long term prospect than a short term goal scoring machine

Dzeko or Tevez and Savic and no cash
