Tolmie are you saying that like the miners strike was the final battle to crush the power of the unions. The battle for RVP will finally break the perceived power of the rags?
Or am I on the wrong track?

I'd say its more like RVP has told them to get it sorted and he's not willing to do the pre season tour as he has no intentions of being at Arsenal.

I'd ge surprised if these bids aren't just Arsenal trying to invoke more action and interest as they rush to sell.

He's under contract for another. If he's trying to force the issue he's bang out of order. Let's hope you've misinterpreted TH clue as we don't need that sort of player.

Nasri ?

Does anyone know what sources have apparently said that RVP prefers a move to United?

Seen it a few times on twitter, but no actual proper sources. FWIW I think he'll end up signing for City although I really don't think you need him. I think you'd be better off with Aguero, Tevez and Balotelli as your main strikers next season, sell Dzeko and bring in a young striker with great potential to be 4th choice. I think signing RVP will limit the amount of game time Balotelii will get, someone who I think could kick on and become one of the players of the season next year if given the chance to.

Completely agree.

If this was Silva, Aguero, Yaya or Kompany doing this we would be screaming (blue) murder.

I'm not trying to be righteous but I think I'm close to be honest. The lack of protection offered in the media from Arsenal suggests that all is not well. Arsenal will hang the lad out to dry and make it clear he pushed for the move. They will sight the purchases of Podolski and Giroud as backing their case when really they are replacements for RVP

There aren't any sources mate. It's just what spilled out of The Sun's transfer tombola machine one morning.

Yeah, as I suspected. Surprisingly enough there doesn't seem to be any serious indication as to what RVP's actual preference is.

North Korea Propaganda aka United PR team have most likely put it about. Twitter is a platform for bullshit to be stated as fact to an audience.

Many Journalists go with it because its a safe statement. They then claim history, Fergie and Giggs&Scholes were the pull etc. I'm yet to read any statements of quotes from a solid source.

Now if say Pat Rice came out and said Robin favours United you have to stand up and listen. But when its Sportmail Reporter understands that's the initial source which is then copied and added to x100 of people it gets misunderstood. The Hazard stuff was the samr, he chose you lot according to Sky and many tabloids.

He will be in china for pre-season but it will be in blue.
Im certain this was done months ago. As per the press muddy the waters and spout b0ll0x re rags and juve

He has told arsenal to sort it and tolmies strike video is basically as many have said that he aint going on tour with arsenal something they thought he would do.

I reckon it will be done quick over the next couple of days while the rags are in south africa

When do we fly to china ? I expect him to be on our plane

no sources just my thoughts TIN HAT time

That was quality ... true blue humour

I've just had both my legs amputated and was feeling understandably less than enthusiastic about my future, but that was before I got this jigsaw of Nick Humby brought into hospital as a present, and now the future looks bright and I'm raring to go! In fact when I first unwrapped this jigsaw (at first I thought it was some slippers!) I fell out of my bed! This is because Nick Humby just happens to be my favourite ever man u financial director. Seeing Nick's happy, smiling face as he 'cooks the books' (ensuring the club can afford to spend top-dollar on the best players in Europe such as Bebe and Michael Owen) gave me a warm glow inside as I clambered back into my bed with the aid of a couple of nurses. This is one jigsaw I cannot wait to complete just as soon as I am back on my feet. My only quibble is the tie, which might have been a natty little green and gold number with a picture of sralic ferguson dressed as a red devil on the front. But beggars can't be choosers

thats the one.

also
It simply doesn't matter how bad a day you may be having - knowing you have the Humby Jigsaw to come home to just makes everything better.

Even the mere act of getting the box out (from the deepest recess of my shed - can't have Mrs Mohawk seeing it.....she wouldn't understand) and the sheer adrenaline rush of seeing Humby's beaming boatrace on the cover makes me stand taller, talk more confidently, be better at DIY and an absolute alpha male when the ladies are around.

Why, just the other day, I'd had a terrible day at work (I'd been given a warning for putting an apple pie in the company's server), got drenched on the way home, seen 4 muggings and 2 road accidents, watched as a dog killed a cat and was just overwhelmed by the crushing realisation that we are tiny, insignificant specks in a vast and uncaring universe.

Or rather, I was until got The Humby out......everything seemed better....the days longer, the sunshine brighter, my life again full of purpose and my wife's smile even more beautiful.....

Of course, I haven't completed it yet......why rush a good thing?

apologies for going off topic.

When it comes to reviews you'll never beet wolf shirt

:)

He scores when he wants, he scores when he wants, Robin Van Persie scores when he wants.

I think you can rule out the rags as they have recently refused to pay what Sao Paulo want for Lucas Moura. Juventus wanted to sign Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero at the time we were very interested in signing them players. Unless they have the funds to match us this is looking increasing unlikely.

so its official goal.com read bluemoon, having seen my post recreated it journo style and they have a release! lol

As things go if it on there it complete and utter drivel

I dont think you can assume he is ours.
Yes our owners have the finance but whether we choose to be the highest bidder with every player we chase is another question.
We declined to outbid Chelsea on Hazard.
(Some sources say we backed out leaving Utd and Chelsea chasing him at the end!)
I assume the board will make a reasoned call on what they are prepared to pay.
I would think Arsenal would prefer RVP to go to Juve than Manchester.

Goal.com posted that article before you or tolmie posted

Goal.com has a bad rep because it used to be complete shite. I think it's well worth keeping an eye on these days, but each to their own
