Get ready for the back papers...city in transfer crisis over rvp.....CERTAIN...

How many times do you reckon the tiresome phrase "back me or sack me" will get (ab)used?

lol to me it means that we're close to signing him

Most of Arsenal's goal attempts or opportunities were taken by him.
With City if he was to take them what does that leaves to our other goal scorers?

He also has very good assist record as well so that should not be a problem.

Euros 2012.
All the squandered goal opportunities.
Just imagine if Mario or Aguero were playing for the Dutch.

By having Robin (0 for 5) we have to shortchange Mario (2 for 3 against Germany) or Aguero of goal attempts. No?

The flaw here is basing things on Euro 2012/international football where better players than both van Persie and Mario have failed to deliver like they do at club level for various reasons.

So can Tevez, Mario, Aguero, Silva, Nasri.

Whilst on the subject of transfers, surely the biggest signing of the summer has to be Kompany on a 6 year deal. I'm so pleased he has signed the new contract and whilst new players coming in is all well and good, Kompany will be paramount to our future.

Captain Fantastic signed, that'll do for starters!

Plus Roberto Mancini's contract and waiting for David Silva to sign his as well.

The press will be too obsessed with the Olympics and wrapping everything up in the Union Jack to worry about City (other than the utterly obsessive Hansen)

Re: chelsea boss says City spending is unfair

Dont think we were ever intersted in this guy on arses terms so weve fucked him off. And the press are upset because all their knowledge turns out to be shit

So what's the latest on Van persie?

the great manchester united have bid for him so that effectively rules everyone out and he's basically going there by even taking a pay cut

And taking the pay cut so he does not upset the White Pele.

No way he's going to Juve if Conte is banned. They say it could be a year if he doesn't accept a 3 month plea agreement. Other Juventus players implicated, they could be banned for 3 years.

He has a tough decision to make. His alternatives are stay at a club he doesn't want to be at anymore for a season and endure the wrath of the Gooners as well. Join a club who will have to either adjust their wage structure to accommodate him or persuade him to sign for less wages but more history. Or Join the Premier League Champions, who wants to go to the next level but has to offload a couple of players to fit him in.

Seems like simple logic, doesn't it? Really hope this comes off.

Getting rid of Adebayor would really make this move fast. Shame there's been almost no interest in our players.

Yep that is what it boils down to in my opinion. Adebayor is a tough one because the money seems to be either in Russia, Middle East or China. He has turned down PSG last season, so those three countries will appeal to him even less than the French League.
