maybe not a popular choice with fans at first, but once he starts scoring that would all change.. personally i think hes a great player and would love him here

wise words, until he comes though, will still be a duck

His age and fragility concern me. That alone tells me we should move on. Plenty of others would love to wear our shirt.

Forget Van Persie, I'm saying that to anyone who is considering betting money.

He is not a target for a variety of reasons.

The main one, we do not consider him value for money, in relation to his age.

City are targeting the best of young talent this January and next summer.

Hazard & Gotze & Erriksen & Javi Martinez & Marco Reus & Vertonghen

Kerrrrrrrrrrrwality. That's how it's done - top young talent who are already quality players and can go on to be the best in the world. If it doesn't work out we got most or all our money back (Boateng), if it does work out we end up with more of the like of Silva and Kompany in the squad

Brilliant was waiting for the moment where we could buy the youngsters as the first team is strong enough

What if 1 of the strikers blows a hammy or a knee during that time though???

We need to get out of the mindset of a conventional striker. Barca have shown the way and Mancini is now taking it to the next level in the Premier League.

Silva, Nasri, Johnson, Yaya, all who can play as the second striker, if needed.

Which is why it will be young players who can sit between midfield and up top, who can operate wide.

Regardless of what happens with Tevez I assume we are looking for a 4th striker. As we play Balo left wing/forward with either Aguero or Dzeko up front we can get another forward in for rotation purposes.

I assumed we would go for someone like Anelka (available on a free next summer) who may be prepared to bench sit a bit. I doubt we will be looking at another Aguero type signing, maybe a promising youngster but a promising young striker is still big money with FFPR looming........

Any idea how many players Mancini wants to sign in january (if any?)....what kind of players? Maybe who is his main targets?

Something about our future transfers would be appreciated. :D
