im so tempted to bite....by writing this i believe i just did haha

an RVP transfer would never be a January transfer.

Like a potential Cavani transfer I couldn't see it happening with all three of Balotelli, Dzeko, and Aguero on the books.

If Arsenal don't get top 4 and qualify for the Champions League maybe we have a chance of signing him this summer.

Prefer Aguero, Dzeko and Balotelli

He scores loads at Arsenal because he is the focus of their team. He wouldn't be at City.

Please, he's a FANTASTIC striker in his own right and would score bags of goals for us.

A belief, not a fact.
I share the views of blink922.

He scores at Arsenal because he can finish from ridiculous places that other strikers consistently don't.

I take it you've not watched Arsenal much this season? RVP is possibly the 2nd best striker in the world, behind Messi. That's my opinion, though.

You are mad, not only is he better finisher than dzeko. His technique and vision is light years ahead of Dzekos who has poor touch most of the time. You never see Van persie have some of the touches Dzeko has. technically they are in different worlds. take messi out. Van persie has the best vision of any striker in the world.

I dont want Robin Van Persie.

Obviously theres been ALOT of talking about RVP to city and Arsenal thinking of cashing in.
Personally i dont want him at city, reasons being:

• He'll be 29 by the start of next season so he can't progress that much more.

• He will have little to no resell value, where as if we went for someone like Cavani not only will he get better but if we have to sell or for whatever reason we could still command a decent fee.

• For me this season has been RVP prime season, he will not have another season in which he will be so prolific.

• Hes not going to be cheap either - commanding a fee of around £30Million.

• Where as if we were to increase that £30M to £40M and get Bale from spurs it would not only benefit the team as a whole but it could kick start Dzeko and hopefully havve him playing alot better than he currently is.

• on top of that he is also injury prone, and that is another reason he wont have another season as good as he is having at the moment.

Anybody else feel the same?

Mods you can merge this if you want....
