He's a fantastic player but how can we fit him in? I just can't see how its feasible, right now we have the right balance of three big name fowards with one sitting out each match and sometimes coming on.

All we need is a fourth striker of modest reputation, preferably one of great promise to learn from them and we have one - Guidetti. Wenger sent scouts to watch Ahmed Musa at VVV when they played Feyernoord and they went back and told him to buy Guidetti from us with a glowing report of him - says it all.

Did you actually write 'hes a fantastic player'? FANTASTIC???? Come back when you've sobered up............................or when someone with a bit of football knowledge identifies a properly 'fantastic' player to you.

And another thing - how are you going to sell the idea of training our kids, and being 4th choice, to a current England International? (How he's that is beyond me).

Yes, Robin Van Persie is a fantastic player and there's no need for insults if you don't agree. I watch plenty of football and if Van Persie hadn't been so injury prone throughout his career, he'd be considered one of the greats of the noughties - his current injury-free run proves that, he's scored 34 league goals in 2011 alone. Just look at his goalscoring record and he isn't a one-dimensional front man who bags goals, he can run the flanks and has great technique and skill.

I don't understand, what are you talking about? I said Guidetti should be our 4th choice striker, he is neither English or anything but a youth international yet but is tipped to go to the Euros with Sweden.

Going by this interview. it really sounds like he will stay and loves the club

SalfordPaul has yet to be wrong an is by in far our most upfront ITK on this forum. If he says he's coming then I believe him of he doesn't then he's risking all of his reputation on this forum. But that's the danger of being ITK.

Really?

I read nothing in that 'interview' that would encourage such an expectation, merely another footballer paying the usual lip service.

However, feel free to keep clutching Gooney.....

was against the idea of us signin this guy.

having seen him against us the other week, he completely changed my mind. class act.

we need a striker imo, and if we were to sign rvp we would win the league easily.
