I watched the game and Elano and Robi played very well. Robinho looked much better than Kaka.

However it was Hughes that fucked Elano off to Turkey not Mancini. And when he bought Tevez Hughes knew what he was doing. He knew that Robi would not enjoy playing second fiddle to Carlos. By the time Mancini arrived most fans were saying they'd prefer Bellamy, at least he tries.
So lets not have this revisionism just so you can have a go at Mancini.

Robinho is a great player but I don't think he wants to be in England end of.

My No. 1 priority would be too keep him, but if not then yes could use him as a swap, but I'd be looking for a midfielder not yet another forward

the problem comes when we are nil nil with west ham at home with 50mins gone. Are you going to have the confidence in Robbie to dig something out of the bag if he hasn't already in 50mins?!?

Hey does anyone remember the way we used to play under keegan when we had swp and Jensen as wingbacks.

Benarbia, Berkovic, Attacking midfielders, Foe/Horlock as Defensive Mid, 3 centre halves, 2 strikers. I'd love to see that again with a quick attacking left back like Gareth Bale.

Seems perfectly suited to DeJong. With Robbie just in front and one other attacking mid. That would be an exciting team to watch. Just a thought.
