Two, Three if you class Robinho as a Striker too.
Bellamy, Tevez, Ade. 3. Plus Robinho equals 4

agreed!! thought robi was class last night.think if you let him play in the hole/floating role then we would see a different robinho!!BenchillBlue said:Looking at what he did last night, and if Robinho was to come back to the club, why not play him as an attacking midfielder, or play him in the hole. Robinho is not a winger nor is he an out and out forward, but he curtaining can pass the ball well, and has great vision as seen with the Elano goal. I seen him distroy Portsmouth 6-0 in a similar role a couple of seasons back at Eastlands.
Absolutely. I still wouldn't want to get rid of him, however we also need to know if he would want to return. I know the answer should be 'he's under contract so will do as he's told', but being under contract doesn't seem to make any difference to players like this. If his heart isn't in it, then there's no point in him coming back.bluemoon201164 said:if you want to get the best out of robinho, you have to play him in behind a striker.an give him that free roll.
then he will shine.
There's no way in my eyes we can just write a 32.5 mil player off, he'll have to come back and fight for his place. We would look stupid if we just allowed him to leave.malg said:Absolutely. looks like he has his fitness back as well which was part of the problem when he returned from the injury that he had at the start of last season (shame some fans didnt give him time to find his fitness and form again!!!!!)
I dont blame him for wanting to leave after the media backlash against him coupled with the fact that a small section of our supposed loyal fans jumped on this bandwagod (and dont tell me they didnt cause i heard it at matches!!).....the media are fucking huypocrits...last night they were fawning over him....saying this wasnt the player that we saw at city (they must have missed his first whole season then!)...they are a disgrace and its a shame that some city fans jump on the media bandwagon and will also do in the future
same with elano as well......but that boat has well and truely sailed
The same could happen to other players at the club including Ade and even maybe tevez....but some city fans never ever learn!!!!!!

It wasn't the fans. Hughes was leaking stories about Elano being a problem. He got rid of Elano. It was bound to effect Robinho who Hughes then left out the side. Bellamy played well and that was that.
