Robinho: first barca then santos then barca now besiktas

Looking at what he did last night, and if Robinho was to come back to the club, why not play him as an attacking midfielder, or play him in the hole. Robinho is not a winger nor is he an out and out forward, but he curtaining can pass the ball well, and has great vision as seen with the Elano goal. I seen him distroy Portsmouth 6-0 in a similar role a couple of seasons back at Eastlands.

agreed!! thought robi was class last night.think if you let him play in the hole/floating role then we would see a different robinho!!

if you want to get the best out of robinho, you have to play him in behind a striker.an give him that free roll.

then he will shine.
Absolutely. I still wouldn't want to get rid of him, however we also need to know if he would want to return. I know the answer should be 'he's under contract so will do as he's told', but being under contract doesn't seem to make any difference to players like this. If his heart isn't in it, then there's no point in him coming back.

There's no way in my eyes we can just write a 32.5 mil player off, he'll have to come back and fight for his place. We would look stupid if we just allowed him to leave.

no he wouldnt just leave we would SELL him

showed his class last night and what a player he can be if played in the right way and in the right formation...he started on the left but was basically free to roam all over the pitch from right to left along the front line....

looks like he has his fitness back as well which was part of the problem when he returned from the injury that he had at the start of last season (shame some fans didnt give him time to find his fitness and form again!!!!!)

I dont blame him for wanting to leave after the media backlash against him coupled with the fact that a small section of our supposed loyal fans jumped on this bandwagod (and dont tell me they didnt cause i heard it at matches!!).....the media are fucking huypocrits...last night they were fawning over him....saying this wasnt the player that we saw at city (they must have missed his first whole season then!)...they are a disgrace and its a shame that some city fans jump on the media bandwagon and will also do in the future

same with elano as well......but that boat has well and truely sailed

The same could happen to other players at the club including Ade and even maybe tevez....but some city fans never ever learn!!!!!!

It wasn't the fans. Hughes was leaking stories about Elano being a problem. He got rid of Elano. It was bound to effect Robinho who Hughes then left out the side. Bellamy played well and that was that.

Wrong!!!!....I heard them with my own ears slagging the player off loudly.....it happened and that is a fact!....not saying your point it wrong but the fans reallly didint help at all

Robinho is a class player when he can dictate the tempo, something he cant do in the premiership.

Hes a spanish league player-Marca already this morning are talking of a swap deal for Ibra being a possibility-Robbo plus 10 million Euros should do it so lets hope he keeps playing blinders against Koreans and the like.
