Admits hes lost form but seems like he wants to play for us, Guys a fukin ledge!!!!

he is certainly sending out the right message. Hope he can become the player that is known as waking our club and starting a run of success, how good would he feel if when he retires he has helped City win lots of trophies and got himself into the hall of fame as being there from the beginning. bought my 6 year old son a City shirt for xmas and there was only 1 name he wanted on it, Robinho....its great for his generation to have real world class stars to look up to and aspire to be,hopefully with a team to be proud of.

not a chance of becoming the best player in the world
Messi was a better player than him at 17, Ronaldo is far more complete, Aguero has more talent and desire(and is years younger) Guiseppe Rossi, Andres Iniesta, Franck Ribery, Kaka, Del Piero, Zlatan and Samuel E'too to name just 10 of the top of my head, and thats just attacking players

Bellamy is more important to the club, and id rather have Santa Cruz partnering him than the skinny sex pest
he missed a 1-on-1 against Copenhagen which would have made it 3-1 and won the tie; against Middlesbrough he miised another which luckily went unpunished due to Afonso Alves trying to murder Shay Given with the ball and some good defending.
think back to Liverpool at home; 2 up, he had the chance to kill the game, but ballooned it over the bar from 4 yards

his goal tally is misleading; 3 against Stoke, who's defending that day was utterly shocking and two of which where put on a plate by Daniel Sturridge, and 2 against Hull, who were also awful at the back and were already beaten by Stevie Ireland's genuis
then you have a very fortunate deflected freekick against Chelsea, the 4th goal against a demoralised Pompey, a disputable pen against Newcastle

Robinho, as Capello and Schuster discovered, and Hughes is discovering, is not a match winner; hes simply a dancer who only comes out to play once the game has already been won by his more effective but less hyped team-mates.

What total bullshit, so goals only count if they are important? Bellamy more important to the club BULLSHIT, sooner have RSC upfront YOU MUST BE OUT OF YOUR MIND! As for the first part, it assumes people delevop at the same pace, which as anyone that has even a passing understanding of sport or indeed learning in general will tell you is plain wrong. If that where so, the best clubs would pick up the best 17 year olds, and they would all move up through the ranks to be the best players in the game, some players develop late(Ian Wright, for example). In 10 months here on the board I have to say you win the prize for stupidest post ever.

Biggest load of bollocks I have ever read on here. Even if you can bend the facts to suit your argument about is great goal tally, you are not acknowledging the fact that he has had a hand in probably 90% of our goals this season through his vision and passing.

If you can't see what Robbie is doing for this team you are as blind as the guy that sits 3 seats down from me at COMS.

not his biggest fan then! think your argumnet against him is flimsy at best though, no matter how poor a defence is playing you still have to get into the position to score them, our recent history of strikers meant we had no-one who hit 10 goals for a season since Anelka and Goater left, he already has 11. none of the goals against Stoke or Hull were easy tap ins(going by the same argument, any player who scores after the score is 2 or 3 nil you are saying mustn't be counted as the oppo were already beaten!), whether the penalty was dubious or not is irrelevant he still scored it. What about the exquisite goal he scored against Twente, or the goal with the last kick of ball against Blackburn to equalise, the game was hardly won by his less hyped team-mates on that occasion. and lets not forget the goal assists he has to his name this season, there is more to his game than just scoring. Yes he has flattered to deceive on occasion, and needs to work harder in some of the less glamorous away games, but overall I would say he as been a relatively succesful aquisition.

Dont forget that quality finish against arsenal, saying that we were already winning so they were a beaten team ;)
