not his biggest fan then! think your argumnet against him is flimsy at best though, no matter how poor a defence is playing you still have to get into the position to score them,our recent history of strikers meant we had no-one who hit 10 goals for a season since Anelka and Goater left, he already has 11. none of the goals against Stoke or Hull were easy tap ins(going by the same argument, any player who scores after the score is 2 or 3 nil you are saying mustn't be counted as the oppo were already beaten!), whether the penalty was dubious or not is irrelevant he still scored it. What about the exquisite goal he scored against Twente, or the goal with the last kick of ball against Blackburn to equalise,the game was hardly won by his less hyped team-mates on that occasion. and lets not forget the goal assists he has to his name this season,there is more to his game than just scoring. Yes he has flattered to deceive on occasion,and needs to work harder in some of the less glamorous away games,but overall I would say he as been a relatively succesful aquisition.
