Robinho in 10-0 Santos Win

My overall point is Robinho plays better in a team that is able to keep the ball.

And my point is only tries when he can be arsed. Which can be proved by looking at his pathetic performances.

Torres and Gerrard have been average for the majority of the season, wheras last season, when Alonso was there, Torres and Gerrard were more effective.

Torres and Gerrard have been injured a lot this season - one of the Robinho lovers' favourite excuses for Robinho's poor performances.

You can't have it both ways!

If you're going down the road of saying Robinho doesn't try, then any further discussion with me at least is pointless.

Bye, then. Go off and watch a video of Robinho's 'performance' away at Chelsea last season and drool over his work rate and team spirit.

its not all about work rate though...torres' work rate isnt great, neither was henry's at arsenal. This is the point as well that i just dont get......even if Robbie was running around like bellamy and tevez putting in challenges all over the place....how many would he win? probably none...the only result would be injuries....

there is no point to him doing what some fans want him to do.....

he is a player that deos his best work with the ball at his feet

Bollocks. Work rate for an attacking player isn't just about tackling. It's about making runs, creating space, getting the ball and taking players on, creating chances, scoring goals.

NON of which Robinho does to any meaningful extent when he can't be arsed!

Most fans want him to do the above!

he is a player that deos his best work with the ball at his feet

But he doesn't do it often enough - that's the whole bloody reason why he is criticised.

He can't be arsed to do it, because he's a lazy twat who doesn't want to be at City.

he went to get first team football and regain his fitness so he can go to the world cup. Surely if he didnt want to be here that much he would have asked for a permanent transfer

But this is not my argueent anyway....my main arguement is against those who say he aint good enough and then are so bitter that they just slag the guy off ans say he was shit anyway.......which he isnt and wasnt.

Great players don't go out on loan for first team football.

People are allowed opinions of how he played.

of course they are....and in some games he was very poor.....but so were other players and so more will be

but he gets more abuse than others and that is the problem

certain players seem to attract more abuse from fans than others and robinho is certainly one of them....the next player it will happen to is ade who by some happy coincidence is also a figure of hate within the british media (just like robinho was from day one)

The fact that Robinho's come and gone in a flash for 32m just proves how far football is from us fans - open another bottle of Bolly please Jeeves and ring Max Clifford......................

'Other players' didn't cost 32 million big ones.
