Robinho (Merged)

Great deal for City, quoted 22m to 23m with a further saving of over 20m wages, plus will stop all the negative Robbie stories attributed to City.

Will try to remember him for the sporadic magical moments, Portsmouth at home and Everton away (not where he was subbed) spring to mind

ssn just said with the wages saving 4 mill a year over the years he has left we will make a profit on robbie.

I heard that too and it's a load of bollocks. If you're going to factor wages saved into the deal then surely you have to include wages you've already paid out.

Cost £32.5M
wages so far £8M

= £40.5M

Incoming fee £22-23M

wages saved £12M

= £34/35M

Doesn't look like a profit to me.

I'm happy just to rid though.

After Sunday's debacle - another step backwards!

At this rate the "project" wont get a sniff of a trophy for years.

After bringing in two players who have been far more successful in Spain than Robinho, ie Silva and Yaya PLUS 2 top quality signings from Italy, Kolarov and Balotelli, a young star in the world cup Boateng, and then there is James Milner and you are bemoaning the loss of a spoilt brat who has never wanted to be at City. Get real.

And to add he has not been close to the first 11 this season so he really is no loss in the great scheme of things. Delighted when he came, delighted when he goes. We are bigger than this now.

ssn are thick..if you buy someone for a price..you have to sell for more than the price you payed ffs ...you could pull the reporters through the screen sometimes

Gazzetta reports that Milan's talks with Juventus for Borriello's transfer has broken down, Juve has left the negotiation table.

Roma seem now absolute favourites to get Borriello. But it's getting late, the deal should be sealed now, as or else Borriello won't have time to get to Rome and do the medical exam.

As stated before, the reports say Milan is dependent on getting rid of Borriello have the money to get Robinho.

Corriere dello Sport say that Milan and Roma have agreed on the deal on Borriello, now Roma is trying to negotiate with the player, but they start with a disadvantage as Borriello at a previous occasion has turned down the Giallorossi.
