Robinho - 'Of Course I'd Enjoy Playing for Barca'

To be honest I just got bored with your lack of being able to grasp what the situation actually is. You have your opinion, I have mine. Nice one.

1-0 to me then ,next time you want a chat ,feel free

So one can understand from most of the posts in this thread that we should always sell our players if one of those big clubs came knocking our door just because we can not match them in terms of history!

A hypothetical question: If Barca wanted to buy Essien, would Chelsea sell easily just because of the wide gap in history?

Not suited to the Pl? not what we need?, dont need him the form were in?
With comments like these What a load of fuckwits we have, blue fuckwits though.
With Rob fit we would have an awesome line up and top quality options.

The 'not suited to the prem' argument is a perfectly valid one. The prem is a very physical league and Robbie has struggled to cope at times

If hes not suited to the Pl in his 1st season he was awesome and we now will reap the benefits of his learning curve. If he fooks off now and is replaced by Rubbery in Jan for example he wont be suited to the Pl, mid season even more difficult.
He is now PL experienced, if he goes it should be in the summer not Jan

And yet if you asked the other 19 premiership clubs if they would like Robinho I doubt they'd be few who would say no.

There are so many examples I could give you of players you'd consider top notch who have taken time to get used to the premiership.

You fail to consider that he can turn a game on its head in an instant and can create something out of nothing. For that reason alone, he must play as it puts him in as the 'wild card'. He draws defenders onto him and creates space for other players to exploit. He scores. He gets assists.

Tell me this. Before we got him Chelsea wanted him / thought he was as good as signed. Now Barcelona are interested in him. For Barcelona to want a former Real Madrid player knowing what controversy it will inevitably cause, surely he must be doing something right or they know the qualities he can bring to the team ahead of Thierry Henry potentially - agreed?

It would all depend on if Essien wanted to go or not. Essien might never have 'dreamt' of playing for Barca and might be more than happy in London. If Barca came knocking and Chelsea asked if he wanted to go and he said no, well then no, Chelsea would have no reason to sell. If Essien said, 'you know what Red Rom, it was my dream growing up to pull on that Barca jersey and it would be a pleasure if that chance is now'....Chelsea would then have to say 'fair enough, we can't argue with that', and should let him go. That is what we are led to believe is happening here. Robbie wants to play for Barca and so we should let him if thats what he wants. The history arguement is that they have tons of it, and so it is underatandable if a player wants to go there. I cannit believe i'm explaining this again!!!!!1

Again City fans treating Robinho like their only son. If this was anyone else saying this then everyone would be 'well fuck him then'. But no, its Robinho, so therefore it's alright because 'who wouldn't want to play for Barca?'

Robinho - Played about 40 games, turned up to about 10 of them.

But what do I know? He's Brazilian and is totally sick on FM09 - that makes a lot more sense than someone who is not physically, mentally and quick enough for the Premier League.

you talk rubbish ;) on his day he can tear any premier league side apart ... we need players like that. It would be a step in the wrong direction if we were to sell him. We would need to replace him very quickly if he did go. Maybe ribery
