Robinho talks about leaving to the rest of the team

RSC failed to add that they also talk of how no club in Europe would be interested in him as he's hardly played for the last 18 months and when he does play he has to used 2 rolls of masking tape covered over with blue insulating tape just so his legs don't fall off. At this point they all laugh and say at least we're not as bad as Tevez!

Robinho himself came out at the end of last week and said he was very happy at City

This is nothing more than the media asking a RSC a bunch of loaded questions and then taking his answers out of context, twisting them slightly to produce a story.

Ive said before that some of our so called fans are our biggest problem......the media are lokoing to drive a wedge between robinho, the club and the fans and we are helping them to do it.

It wont be long before Robinho returns to action and i will bet that as soon as he makes a mistake, misses a opportunity to score or doesnt trrack back certain sections of our suport (and the media ) will interprit oit as him wanting to go to barca

And who wouldnt of course want to go to barca....i bet if you asked Ned if he would one day like to play for barca he would say yes.......ask shay given the same......and the answer would be yes....but they ar eboth happy at city.....

Our fans need to stop swollowing this media bullshit and just start concentrating on supporting the players.......We need to create an attitude where it is city vs the world.....and we dont care what people say!!!

most of us had this attitude before the start of the season were we were being attacked left right and center by the media and opposing fans but some seem to have been distracted along the way and stopped fighting this bullshit

"Everything is good for me at City. We have a good side, great support and a fantastic new stadium to look forward to. Everything is going really well, I like living in Manchester and feel very settled here."

I have mixed feelings about Robinho and what he has done here so far, but as a symbol of what we are trying to achieve and how the club handles world stars, I think it would be a massive step backwards if he were to leave and send terrible messages.

Nice to see plenty of people so eager to crucify the bloke already though. The character assasination tactic is well ahead of schedule this season. We now have preemptive character assassination, just in case it all gots tits up.

I've thought for a while Hughes probably doesn't see him as his type of player, I also reckon Robinho probably looks at the style of play Hughes is building into the team and wonders where a player like him fits in, I think the two would be mutually happy to part company.

When all the noise started about him not returning handcuffed to the club doctor, even though his national side are within their rights to have him with them, I thought immediately why all the fuss? Are we getting the retaliation in first to make sure he looks the bad guy? Then lo and behold a few days later the club's favourite paper picks up on this nugget from an interview with Santa openly discussing what is said in the changing room, fuel to the fire or phenomenal coincidence?

Hughes doesn't want him to play because people will remember how little he does in a game and his value will plummet.

He had a decent, not great, first season in the toughest league in the world, if he hadn't got injured early on this season he might have been even better.

Makes sense, Barca want a player who does very little in a game. It's why they're going for Fabregas as well.

If they watched Bellamy every week I'd bet they'd put in a huge bid for him (insert clever fail pic here).

For those that think that when Robinho says he is happy at City and doesn't want a move that it means he doesn't want a move read below.
All comments made by Anelka:
This is the first time I have felt completely happy at a club - Chelsea is the first football club I can call home. I have no plans to move again. The players are my good friends and I have a great relationship with the fans. It took a long time for me to find a club that I can call home, but this is it." Can the man who has no less than eight clubs on his CV finally be settled? According to what he told the Sun today, it would seem so. Though a quick trawl through some previous quotes may suggest otherwise...

PSG, 2001
"I'm content to stay with PSG and win a title, which I will do. Everywhere I've played I've won titles. If I left now it would be showing disrespect to the president, the coach Luis Fernandez and the supporters. I get along very well with everyone here and that is important for me."
Result: No title was won, and just months later he signed on loan for...

Liverpool, 2002
"I'm happy at Liverpool, yes, I would like to stay here. And not just for a year or two, but for a long time. Everything about the place impresses me. The players, the supporters and the club as a whole. Anfield is also one of the best places I have played football - that's why I want to stay here. I have begun to enjoy my football again. I think it's down to the whole environment."
Result: Off-field issues meant Houllier didn't fancy keeping him, so on he went to...

Manchester City, 2003
"Everything is good for me at City. We have a good side, great support and a fantastic new stadium to look forward to. Everything is going really well, I like living in Manchester and feel very settled here."
Result: To nobody's surprise it didn't take long for Nic to become unsettled, and he upped sticks again, this time to Turkey with...

Fenerbahce, 2005
"I haven't received any offer [from Newcastle], I've said many times that I'm happy here. Those who want me in their teams forget that I have a club, Fenerbahce. If they did they'd know that an offer should be made to my club, not me."
Result: And he didn't hang around when an offer did eventually arrive, but from...

Bolton, 2007
"The truth is that I could have left in the last transfer window. But I didn't want to because I want to do something with this club. I love the fans and I love the club. Bolton helped me come back to England - which I wanted to do - and I won't forget that."

Result: He soon forgot all about it when Avram Grant looked up Bolton's fax number...
