Even if Fern plays vanilla CB...When Fern plays CB (which he will), that’s exactly the role he’ll play, I agree. So many times the opposition will just sit their striker on our DM to disrupt our build up. So if we have another DM coming out from the back 4, we get the extra man and can deal with it. It’s also a huge weapon for us to have Ederson in the build up as he effectively plays as a sweeper and can compensate for Fernandinho leaving the back 4. It’ll be brilliant when it’s a well-oiled machine with Fern in that role.

By playing Rodri and replacing a CB with Fernandinho, you basically add even more intelligence, press-resistence and footballing ability to the team, without taking much of a hit in the airforce department.
Add a fit KDB and the notion of chasing shadows will take on a whole new meaning for the opposition... Brutal.

To be fair, whenever we point out the excuse of not enough rest time compared to other leagues they mention that we have an advantage of more money to get better quality and even with all that until this year we get beaten by their lot year in year out.You have totally overacted to posts saying he will have to get used to this league as it's harder,it is more physical and faster,you get less time on the ball,every player that comes from any other league not just to us says the same,i believe i only said you'll see,that hardly warranted you going off on one,which league do you support that has made you react this way? if you mean in the CL that's because spain and germany are easy leagues where you can rest your best players for the CL and their is less fixture congestion as we play 4 comps,we are talking about the prem here,right touchy one you are
