Indeed, as well as the strain on his body in the opening minutes of the game. Fuck off.The other thing I'll say is this was a non-contact injury thats likely in part due to excess strain on the body. Rodri has played a lot of football over the last 3 years (and particularly last season/this summer) and plenty of other players are in the same boat. I know he'd had a rest but putting so much mileage on the body means these injuries often happen as a result of cumulative strain. For sure there's too much football being played and I reckon we'll see a lot of players in top leagues getting these kinds of injuries with the amount of football they have to play.
You only joined last month. Your name clearly gives away your true allegiance. It’s obvious you’re a rag - just like your user name - Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs who was the “lost” oasis member & a big fat rag.Giving Grealish 300k per week who cannot score 5 goals per season, giving Stones 250k per week and not having room for signing Rodri’s back-up. Incredible planning.
Just to remind a few/cheer a few up.....
City without Rodri but with Gundo at number 6:
Bring it on!We've now got Gabriel on twitter doing a Brazilian TV interview saying Arsenal will be 'waiting at our house' for City in february with the intimation that violence will happen.
Ignore him. He’s clearly a rag trying to wind us up. Bit of a stupid one at thatHe's a genius "did nothing to make City better" What you complaining about?
Do really believe that it's just a one man transfer committee? Like others have alluded to finding a back-up to a player who is regarded as the best in the world in his position is nigh on impossible its why you build a squad so that the manager can cope with loosing vital players, its happened before and we have more than coped.
Think he'd be brilliant, great engine, rarely loses the ball.Time to try Grealish in the middle - he's got the physicality and the legs that we're going to need now.
You’re an average poster mate but I’m sorry on this occasion you are talking bollocks. I have never, and I mean never, seen a football team with the antics of arsenal. Every fucking game there’s sitting down from the keeper, sitting down from players, blatant time wasting, an absolute shit show. They let you get away with blatant disgusting cheating every week. This is 3 seasons now you’ve been doing that. For whatever reason they let you get away with it. You may well win the league this season, you certainly have by far the best defence, but what Arteta and your team do is abhorrent anti football. Even when we were utterly shit we didn’t resort to tactics like this. If Rodri is out for the season you are clear favourites for the league, but the stench is horrendousLook at the risk of getting flamed I don't think Pep will have been happy to see Haaland stoke the fires in that way and provide extra motivation. Clearly personal rivalries are developing on the pitch (even if the managers share great mutual respect and friendship) and so I think it's safe to say matches between the 2 will from now on need to be watched from behind the sofa. Haaland seemed out of control at times and whilst no doubt City fans will love to see that, it does indicate him getting wound up and it's one thing doing that at his home stadium but he's now created a viper-pit atmosphere for the game at the Emirates. City are more than capable of handling that but why make it even tougher than it would otherwise be? It's like creating an extra trip to Anfield from a City perspective.
Likewise Arsenal's shithousery guarantees City away will from now on be even harder than it was before as the fans will be even more up for it than they were before. I'm thinking City-Madrid of a couple of years ago levels of crowd atmosphere which makes it almost mission impossible.
