Roger Waters/Pink Floyd

Wish You Were Here is my favourite. Love everything about it, even the album cover. Easily my most played Floyd album.

Likewise.

I did play DSOTM on my way up to Sunday's match and you cannot get away from the "fact" that it really is an album (as opposed to a collection of songs). The way it is sequenced, arranged and produced is quite outstanding.

Went to see Us and Them at Didsbury Cineworld last night.
It was filmed at the Amsterdam gig on his world tour.
Musically sound but it had been edited and excluded some of my favourites like Comfortably Numb. He spent far too long playing Dogs and Pigs off my least favourite album.
He did quite a few off the Is This The Life You Really Want album which were excellent.
I was surprised at how few were there.
I was also surprised to see that he has a Howard Hughes type obsession with germs which he admitted to and wouldn’t allow fans to shake his hand, just touching them with his fingertips.

Saw it too. I'd never have guessed seeing the audience members that it was filmed in Amsterdam.

Interesting, never knew that about what sounds like his ocd traits, but having read a few biogs of the band it kind of fits I guess.
As a huge fan on Animals, that set list wouldn’t bother me though.

Bigger picture, what is bizarre is his relative reluctance to play live for many years, then making up for it big time in the last 20 years. Mind you, a few bands have followed that pattern...
.. anyone would think bands didn’t make much cash from album sales any more.
